My Camera is working perfectly!

When my Nikon Coolpix S6800 started folding up and shutting down after being powered on for a mere 2 or 3 minutes, I knew the 8 year-old battery had finally given up the ghost. I shopped around for a replacement for it and found one for a very good price that from its advertising seemed to fit every camera on the planet. I foolishly bought it, and surprise surprise, the thing did not even fit properly in the camera's battery compartment. It kinda flopped around in there. Then when I went to try to charge it, my USB power meter indicated it was not even charging. Thanks to Prime, I sent it back for a refund. I then found the STK battery for another $1 in price. It made more modest claims about the battery's amp-hour rating, saying 1000 mA-Hr instead of the cheaper battery's claim of 1200 mA-Hr (the Nikon stock battery has 700 mA-Hr stamped on its side). I bought it, it arrived in a couple of days, and it fit perfectly in the battery compartment. Better yet, it charges. If there is any "copy protection" in the Nikon's stock battery, the STK blows through it. The camera recognizes the battery and indicates its battery charge. I have yet to wait for the battery to fully discharge, but I suspect the STK battery will hold up nicely. In summary, it's a very good battery for a very good price that fits my particular camera perfectly.
