Finally, someone did it. This volume, combined with the other volume, provide a comprehensive road map for anyone to progress in their learning, at any level from novice to advanced. For decades I've read everything I can find and spent countless hours figuring things out. Well, it's all there in one collection now. Anyone interested in playing classical guitar should buy these 2 volumes. The cost is quite modest compared to the value of the information. They will be used throughout your lifetime as a player.

Both volumes are excellent and very comprehensive. The only thing I am missing (as I am dipping in and out) is an INDEX - I don't understand why they are so rare in music books......

Esta obra representa un trabajo grande por parte del autor. Define bien el estado actual de los conocimientos sobre tocar la guitarra y, por eso, es imprescindible de leer. Por otro lado, para los guitarristas avanzados, no contiene mucha información nueva y original, la que actualmente la guitarra clásica necesita. Es inclusivo de manera académica pero como tal, no ofrece criticas significativas y informativas. No vas a entender mejor como tocan los guitarristas más conocidos; no hay comparaciones directas y, por eso, el punto de vista técnico de estos libros es bastante fijado. Carece de un indice, el cual sería una gran mejora.
