Perfect for use as watercolor pallets. I group my fave colors so i have gorgeous mixes at my fingertips as well as I can make up a larger mix if needed for skies and such. Stacks perfectly which saves space. Nice ceramic finish, good weight. I would purchase again.

what I like the best about these is the stackability you can unstack them to make one tray fit wherever you can get it to fit I live in a tiny house and I have very limited space I have a lot of paint and I just ordered another set of these because they are porcelain they are smooth and they are dreamy to mix color in or just to put separate colors out and mix on another area I truly recommend these these are amazing! And they're pretty!

As much as Ive always wanted a fancy ceramic palette for my watercolors, I've always had limited desk space so never was able to get one. This is however the perfect fix for that problem! The trays are great, the ceramic is a dream to mix colors on, theyre really easy to clean and when Im done working I just stack them up but am able to leave them on a shelf because theyre pretty!

i use these for the cats treats & they work just fine for that. i bought another set for water coloring washes, they work great for that as well.

Are usually set for mixing watercolors and absolutely love it. The stacking helps it take up less space on my work table when I’m finished. And the white interior is a good background for being able to see true colors. With the watercolor when you reuse them the next day, you just put a little water and reactivate your paint. The very top rim is not coded so they do stain at the top rim. I feel like this is done to help them be sturdier when stacking. It is an issue for me because I plan to only use them for painting.

This set is pretty, and I'll get used to using it, but I had hoped that each dish was large enough to hold one tiny half-pan of watercolor paint so that I could choose a palette of 5 paints from their tins and carry them to my other painting nook. They're not deep enough, though, and when I stacked them, the paints in each pan stuck to the dish above it. So, instead, I squeezed out tube paints into them, which makes them much less functional when it comes to changing to a new palette.

One of those reviews which seems pointless, but it was well packaged and came from China to Canada without any mishaps. They are all intact and looking very good. She already had some which she bought from another source. Though they looked the same design and color these are slightly smaller. She is still happy with them as she can now use them for a different type of ink and there is no chance she will mix them by mistake.She is very happy to have received them.

I love this item for carefully storing my watercolour paints. Their size allow you to dilute to the desired amount also. Beautiful painting results

BROKEN!! :( one of the dishes arrived broken. It such a beautiful piece, I am so sad I cannot use it and have to return it :( Needs better packaging!!
