This is perfect for icing if you have TMJ issues. The ice packs still remail pliant even after freezing overnight. The inside of the band is very soft. The velcro is sturdy. Its a bit stretchy so i would imagine it would fit most people. It's comfortable to wear and doesn't interfere with whatever i am doing while I wear it. I initially found that the ice was too cold and thought the inner cover on the band could be a bit thicker. I was going to get a cloth to put between it and my cheeks but after a minute or two it no longer felt too cold.

Works great! I’m at day 4 after oral surgery and have fluid build up, so, as per my dentist I am now switching from 5 min hot and 5 min cold - first days was cold only. Very convenient so I can simply wrap around my head and do other things. Be careful not to overheat..I did for 30 seconds in microwave and a hole punctured through it..so 15 seconds at a time works perfect!

Update!!! 9/11/20 I highly recommend! Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed today. The dentist sent me home with a nice reusable similar item (smaller ice and a knit fabric holder, which is very too) But I'm glad I had this on back up. I've been able to ice back to back (with small rests in between) It's cold and comforting. I'm sure it will come in handy with headaches and other ailments. At the very least, they include 4 nice small ice packs. This is a good thing to have for any boo boos or beyond. ************ Bought this for my upcoming wisdom teeth extraction. I'm not messing with putting ice in bags and dealing with cold leaks and all that crap. It fits my giant head. It came with 4 ice packs, one set and a spare. Which I'm sure will come in handy. If I survive the surgery, I will post enthusiastically to it's effectiveness or not stay tuned....

Bought this for my wisdom tooth surgery and it saved my life!!!! I froze them for as long as I could (way more than 2 hours or whatever was recommended) and it worked perfectly. Loved that it came with two sets but I wish it came with more. Very easy to reposition and the cold transfer is great. I have extremely long hair and the Velcro didn’t get caught. I slept in it multiple times and didn’t once feel like I was going to get choked. Would absolutely recommend and probably say you need to get this if you have any form of mouth surgery!!!
