At first, I was looking for a massage oil that is natural with health benefits and easy on the skin, but I got a lot more out of this Sweet Almond Oil from NOW Foods. After using it everyday for about 3 weeks, I can vouch for the positive reviews you've seen about this product. Here is a list of things I wish I knew before purchasing this product: QUALITY This oil is FOOD GRADE and all natural! The consistency is similar to that of extra virgin olive oil. It is very easy to apply and the bottle is also of good quality with UV protection. You do not need to use much at all, just 3-4 drops will give you good amount of oil to apply without giving you a greasy feeling as long as you don't use too much of it. This oil will last you for quite sometime, maybe 2-3 times compare to the lotion alternative. BENEFITS There is a lot of health benefit from almond oil to your skin such as vitamin E, as well as magnesium and calcium. Almond oil is also very good for your hair and will enhance your scalp as it moisturizes the hair as well. Price wise, it is quite affordable compared to that of lotions. Although not a professional massage therapist, I use this oil for massage every time. My wife and I love massage, so we massage each other every day specially from knee down. During winter, my wife's heels usually gets very dry and sometime her skin cracked. However, after massaging her feet every day for about 1 week with this oil, her heels and overall skin on her feet became more resilient and I no longer observe any skin crack. After further research, I found out that this type of oil absorbs easily to your skin and moisture it naturally longer than other types of remedy. We also use Biotone and BonVital lotions which specially for the upper body, but this Almond Oil seems to heal the skin better than them. I also use it as a moisturizer for my torso and neck after shower and it locks the moisture the whole day, which is quite impressive. I also tried it on my face lightly for a few days and I haven't had any breakout whatsoever, which is great! Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and will definitely but this again if I'm out (which maybe months ahead). NOTE: You may want to consult with your physician if you are allergic to nuts before purchasing this product.

Very hydrating, the only reason I don’t give it five stars is because you have to be careful when you pour it remembering it is an oil. I like to add it to my other moisturizer. It really does such a good job moisturizing and goes right into the skin, not leaving a sticky feeling.

I use it on legs and arms instead of lotion. No tacky feel. Nice consistency. Simple and natural ingredients. Good skin compatibility.absorbs well and non-greasy after rubbed in. I’d buy again.

PLEASE INFORM YOURSELF. Okay, so I hesitated buying this because of some of the negative reviews I saw about it being thick, not smelling like almonds or even feeling like cooking oil. So being the paranoid and indecisive person (who also suffers from buyers remorse, so sue me) I am I decided to investigate, and this is what I learned; There are two DIFFERENT types of almond oil, sweet almond oil and bitter almond oil. Bitter almond oil is darker, smells more like almonds, and is considered an essential oil. Sweet almond oil is a fixed oil, which is why it feels well- oily! Sweet almond oil will not smell like almonds, even though it comes from the tree that produces the types of almonds that we eat so ravenously. Also, sweet almond oil is considered an ALL PURPOSE face moisturizer (kind of similar to coconut oil where you can cook with it but also put it in your hair, but it doesn't smell like coconuts-thank goodness). Where as bitter almond oil is not a fixed oil but rather an essential oil (repeating myself for clarity) and it isn't used in any way for skin care! It doesn't even have any aromatherapy benefits! It simply smells good, and therefore it goes into things like almond soaps, lotion bars, and lip balms. People just assume that the darker sweeter smelling almond oil therefore has the benefits that sweet almond oil has. So- for those people questioning themselves buying this and thinking, "I don't want to rub veggie oil on my face! Plus it won't smell like anything!" please, calm down, take a deep breath and buy this. Seriously, do what I say and buy it right now. I use this in my body scrubs all the time, and when I say this I mean this specific brand! It's awesome! Put it on your face, your hair, your feet, your dog (not your dog), your hands, your chicken, everywhere. Because this oil is pure magic, and now that you know the difference between sweet almond oil and bitter almond oil you can now be an informed buyer. Ya lo había comprado antes en una tienda física, es de excelente calidad, lo uso junto con el de aceite de semilla de uva para desmaquillarme en la noche y funciona muy bien para mi piel, no me irrita en lo absoluto.

Excelente aceite, no tiene aroma lo cual me indica que es natural, muchos otros traen aroma y eso indica que fueron agregados otros aceites químicos para darle el aroma. Volvería a comprarlo, solo me gustaría que el envase fuera de vidrio aunque fuera más pequeño
