Very stable with heavy e-bikes
I needed a stable workstand for a 28kg e-bike. The Park Tool PCS-10.3 stand does the job superbly. The item is well packaged and I found the assembly instructions easy to follow. I tend to be very careful (slow!) when assembling things, but it still took less than 15 minutes. Once assembled the stand outriggers fold easily for storage and the process is tool-less. The mechanism for securing the outriggers in position is very robust and includes a large sprung loaded pin preventing the stand folding when in use. The outrigger base tubes are significantly longer than other stands I have used in the past and provide a very stable base that comfortably supports the weight of my e-bike. The only downside to the longer legs are they provide more tube to trip over when working on the bike! The clamp unit has a reputation for being amongst the best, if not the best, in the business. I can now see why. It is very easy to adjust and clamps the bike securely without excessive force. The clamp jaws are not too long, which means it fits more seatposts that have relatively little tube exposed. Arguably the shorter jaws would put more stress on tubes than longer jaws. If you like clamping the frame rather than the seatpost this might be a consideration, particularly for carbon fibre frames, where a little more care might be advisable. The stand itself has a good range of height adjustment which works well for my height of 1.83 metres (6ft). As with any non electric lift stand, lifting 28kg of bike into the clamp isn't easy, but a little planning and getting the right clamp angle beforehand makes it manageable.Having had the stand a relatively short space of time I can't comment on reliability, but looking at the well engineered design, build quality and experience with other Park Tool products I think it is likely to give many years of service, not to mention the good long term availability of spare parts from Park Tool if something eventually wears out.The stand isn't cheap but because of it's design, quality and ease of use I would argue that it is good value for money and fits the old adage of "buy well, buy once".

Sturdy, well made, what's not to like.
OK, so as other have said it's a significant outlay and having a stand already that I'm unhappy with thought I would give this a go. I've always been very pleased with the Parktools in the past. The box it came packed in was excellent and no problems there. Packaging was great and did it's job.The stand needs some assembly and when I read the instructions yes they were comprehensive but the terminology was new to me (even as an engineer). However there is a very good short You Tube tutorial and was brilliant. I only made one change which was to put the round headed bolts on the outside of the leg of the stand rather than have the nut on the outside face. Other than that assembly was fine.In use it's absolutely brilliant, stable and great to be able to have height and orientation adjustment. One reason I wanted this bike stand is for bleeding my brakes in the future and being able to rotate to get rid of any air bubbles in the pipes. Once the bike is clamped it's clamped no fear of it coming loose or wobbly. It's certainly a sturdy stand and being able to fold into a reasonably small footprint was very helpful. I also like the fact that I will if needed be able to buy spare parts.I should have bought this stand years ago. My previous Kestrel stand was OK but this knocks it into a cocked hat. Pleased with the investment and I'm sure will make maintenance of my bikes much easier.

Parktool 10.3 Build quality, solid grip!
Buy cheap, buy twice! Well I did because a £30 Aldi stand was a lot easier to swallow than £181 for the 10.3. The Aldi stand did serve me well for 3 years and over that time it needed constant reinforcing to hold my bike still as best it could. The 10.3 was an investment, because to me it's a lot of money. I can confidently say this will last me and my bike longer than 3 years! This is a solid fold down stand. Easy to assemble out of the box, the stand has two legs in a v shape and there is no wobble. But it's main feature is the grip! My bike (14kg) dose not wobble or rotate when you take a wheel off! Two examples of my tinkering are, cleaning chain or bleeding brakes. This stand's adjustability is excellent!

Bit overkill for my needs!
Very well built and very strong - all metal construction - but a bit too pricey!

This is absolutely perfect
Purchased this after quite a bit of research on bike standsI've used this a couple of time now with my quite heavy E-bike.Holds it perfectly without wobbling about.Making maintenance and repairs/ upgrades so much easier

Don't buy cheap. This is top notch
It's a lot of money for a bike maintenance stand but you won't regret it.I looked at the Halfords £50-75 things and the reviews were terrible.I have a 23kg Cube e-bike and this holds it perfectly. I'd recommend you take the battery out when working on the bike as you're just adding unnecessary weight otherwise and you have to lift the bike up into the jaws of the Park Tool.Makes working on the bike a breeze. I had a mangled derailleur so needed this to lift the bike so I could fit and setup a new one. Made the job so much easier and had it fitted and setup in 20 mins.Buy cheap and you'll end up wasting your money and buying something like this in the end anyway.

Very good
I wanted a stand for my electric bike. This fit the bill perfectly. Easy to assemble and easy to open and when opened very stable. The bike fits in the jaws and if they are horizontal and you place the bike within the centre of balance you can set the cam lever, lock the bike and then I can rotate the bike easily to have wheels horizontal for work or cleaning. Very pleased and all though quite a lot of money I am very happy with it as I don't worry about it falling over or the bike falling off.

Buy once; buy well
I’ve bought two previous work stands that have never done the job properly, never held the bike securely and been a aim to use. The Park Tool PCS 10.3 is expensive on paper but I know I’ll never need to buy another and the cost per use will look like good value for money. It’s a pleasure to use and holds even a heavy full suspension aluminium MTB exactly in position at any angle.

Worth the extra money
After returning a much cheaper (Chinese) aluminum stand because of poor design (arm holding bike was too short), decided to spend the extra $ and go with the Park Tool PCS 10.3 . So glad I did. Holds my 50lb e-mtb like a champ. Steel clamp instead of plastic and solid construction that should last a lifetime. Plus there's no problem finding replacement parts for any of Park Tool's stands. When it comes to tools, cheap usually means replacement in a few years.

Worth the price
There is so much I like about this repair stand but I'll hit the highlights.1.) This is legit heavy duty, it was able to hold my Lectric XPedition which is a heavy cargo e-bike without a single issue, the cheaper ones I tried first would either release at the holder or start to bend.2.) It looks nice, while not all that important the blue is a very nice shade of blue3.) Setup is easy, once its built there is nothing you need to do.4.) Raising and lowering the stand is easy because the screws tighten with your classic pinch clamp and holds firm.5.) The clamping mechanism is easy to use and spins nicely, you can crank on this hard to ensure nothing budges.6.) It folds nice and compact and is easy to store.Things to keep in mind, when unfolded the footprint is pretty large to be able to spread out the weight so you need a decent space when using this.I know people will see the price and think its not worth it, it is, I have tried the cheaper ones and they are nowhere close to this one. This will last you a lifetime.

Sturdy
Bought a cheap bike stand first but returned it as it felt unstable and weak. This one is very sturdy and give me more confidence to attach my bike to.
