Defected and killed my Ninja-V
I bought this from new, plugged my Ninja-V.. HDMI's were temperamental, only taking in some signals even though the actual Ninja-V as a stand alone device was able to take all the signals from all cameras. Went to stream, and the AtomX wouldn't connect to the laptop, we tried 5 computers in total and nothing, did not show up in any dropdown menus. All firmware was the latest ones. I went to plug in the Ninja today and tried again plugging in the laptop, it has now KILLED my Ninja-V, went to switch it on.. Nothing, you can hear the Ninja-v boot, but that's it. No picture, nothing on the AtomX Cast either. Beware, this is a very substandard device, I would recommend another well known brand instead. Now I have lost money as I have had to turn and event down as we can no longer supply the service which was promised.

Aromos siempre funciona bien. Para mixer básico o entrada de cámaras va de lujo. Echo a faltar más personalización en la app. Poder hacer un diseño de realización, por ejemplo.

Doesnt work
Supposed to work seamlessly with Ninja V. What a waste of money, I didn't test it as I was still waiting for some other components. Now finally tested it, just wouldn't work with Atomos Ninja V, dud product!!

Turn your Ninja to a casting deck
Very easy to install and get started. Easy to use controls and cheap addition to your Atomos Ninja. Only down side is the max 1080p 60 fps (ninja output) Resolution and frame rate.

Does not support H265 recording, the production page gives wrong information
"Recording of stream in ProRes, Avid DNx and optional in h.265" is not valid, H.265 is not an option at all. According to Atomos support, it is not possible to record in H265 when AtomX Cast is connected to Ninja V. This is more or less a hardware limitation.

Great Switcher on Location
Compact and easy to use are the hallmarks of this handy bit of kit from Atomos. I recently used it on a cooking demo video outside the studio and it performed perfectly and didn't take up a lot of precious desk real estate. The price feels right, too. Took minutes to set up and saved hours in the editing bay. I highly recommend this Atomos product.
