Litcessory Flexible Corner Connector/Extension Cable for Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus (2in, 4 Pack, Black - STANDARD 6-PIN V3)

Does the job but.....
Extension cable is of good quality and a great aid if you want to split your run of lights into two. However, if you have the new style lightstrip plus with a molded power pack, this cable will only allow you to split your lights at the end of the 2 metre strip that comes with the Hue product. This is not clear from the product description. If you want to split the lights near the power pack by cutting the cable you will need to buy a cut end to female connector. From what I can see Litcessory do not make one of these so I had to buy an adapter from another supplier to get the configuration I required.

Warning does not connect to lightstrips that you cut
having looked through the useless instructions online and come to the conclusion that this is my only option to extend a cable from one set of shelves to another I was disappointed that they have absolutely no instructions inside, and do not work at all if you want to cut your lightstrip and extend. The cut end accessory is another 20£ but the v4 has not been available online for 2 months, so ive wasted the 20 quid and gone to the original laborious plan of using ethernet cable and cutting and splicing; which i should have done originally rather than spending money on a frankly cheap *ss looking piece of useless plastic cabling.

Quality product!
Great for extending light strip like I have in my picture from bath panel to cabinet. Wires are perfectly thin great for running behind the wall like I have done here. Wish they would hurry up and sell cut end connectors so I can finish off the job!

Incompatible
This product was incompatible with the Philips Hue light strip - see it on the right compared with Philips Strip and connector on left

Just what I needed…. Again!
Just what I needed to be able to extend my Hue light strip V4 to have the lighting where I needed it… this is the second purchase of these and again it worked great - just be careful with those pins and don’t freak out if you accidentally plug them in the wrong way around and it doesn’t work the first time! It’s all good - just turn the cable around…
