Does the brush work for very thick hair?

I bought this brush with the hopes of it brushing thru my curly kinky hair that is very thick. It did not work at all. The bristles just bent as I brushed. It didn't do a thing for my hair. If your hair is very thick try the EZ Detangling Brush from the original website not the fake ones.

Does this brush actually prevent or reduce static?

Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. My hair had just as much static.

What are the measurements on this brush; length and width of head?

Length is 8.25, head width is 3.25, head length is 4.25. All dimensions are approximate and given in inches. I love this brush. I keep it in the shower and need to get another for dry hair.
