Step 2 Place a lens on your index finger. Step 3 Pull down your lower lid with the same hand and the upper lid with the other. Step 4 Look directly at the lens and place it on the cornea. Release the lower lid first and then the upper lid. HOW TO REMOVE CONTACT LENSES Look up and pull the lower lid down. Place your index finger on the lens and slide it down. Squeeze the lens lightly between your fingers and remove gently. HOW TO CARE FOR CONTACT LENSES WASH your hands with soap & water & dry them properly before handling contact lens. RUB each side of the lens surface with lens solution gently. RINSE each side of the lens with lens solution. SOAK the lenses in lens solution at least for 4 hours.
