We bought some lump fish caviar, as well, for £7.99 and it was far superior in taste and texture than this.Worth a try but I won't be purchasing this variety again.Cheapn cheerful wins the day.

Not great, a bit like bottarga but not really, texture something between fish roe and slipppery rubber balls. Sorry, not impressed

This was the first caviar I have tried and I am suprised that it is very tasty. It smells really fishy and I did not like it when I tried it on its own but it is perfect for appetizers. I have made little toasts with sour cream and chives and it was delicious. It was a really good tasting experience and I think it is a good value for money. My partner tried this and was delighted by it. He thought it delicious but salty. You can't expect caviar not to be salty, really. A great luxurious item for that special hors d'ouvres occasion.

My first ever taste of caviar and I was a bit disappointed.On the up side, it wasn't expensive

This is a lot cheaper than ordinary caviar and not the normal black but orange! The caviar comes well packaged and protected in bubble wrap to stop breakage in transit. The jar contains 100g of caviar which is a lot for the price. I have used this on canapés and people commented positively about the colour and appearance so it is nice to have this point of difference. The caviar tastes OK, slightly salty and a bit fishy but not quite as powerful as standard black caviar. I would recommend this if you are having a large party and want a nice point of difference.
