100% Egyptian Cotton Sateen Weave 800 Thread Count Twin Fitted Sheet with Elastic All Around - Fits Mattress Upto 18 inches Blush

The description is very misleading. These are NOT 800 thread count. I have true 400 count sheets that are much thicker. I would guess these to be 200 count at most. Additionally, they do not wrap around my 12 deep mattress, so there is no way they would cover 18 inches... totally false advertising. This is an unfortunate case of you get what you pay for. If the claims were true, they would be a bargain at this price, but they are nothing approaching the description. Amazon should consider dropping this product due to the false information.

The description, reviews and price indicated I was getting good quality. I like a tight fitted sheet because the corners don't ride up and the top stays smooth and close to wrinkle free for the week it's on the bed. This sheet is large, loose and has no shape at all. The material is thin and sleazy and the elastic around the bottom is useless. I've bought microfiber sheets that are more comfortable and better made. This is a joke, and an expensive one at that.

Didn’t even last a month before it tore in the wash. Purchased as a replacement for another I had from this company that did the same. Will not be spending any more money with Mayfair Linen as the product does not last. Was also promised I’d be sent free pillowcases with my last Mayfair purchase and review. That never happened either. Poor quality and poor customer service

Very soft on touch, didn’t change the color after laundry!Update: got an email saying that Mayfair Linen would send pillow cases for free “As a part of our promotion strategy, we are offering an organic pillow cover pair free of cost to a few of our lucky clients, who have purchased from our Store this year.” Was asked to give a review, wrote everything that I knew about the product at that point. Still haven’t gotten any cases, emailed to Mayfair asking about it - no answer (before were answering right away).Didn’t expect anything for free. But now feel bad about the seller, they could have asked for a review without promising something that they would never do!

I hate writing bad reviews. It never feels good and I rarely do it. But these are just not good sheets. Buying sheets unseen (and untouched) is always risky, but with my local bedding store closed for renovations, I had no choice. I did a great deal of research and read hundreds of reviews before settling on these. What a huge disappointment. I could tell out of the package they were not soft or high quality. You could see through the weave easily. It is very hard to believe that they are 800 thread count or even a sateen weave. But for the price I took a chance and washed them just in case it was the factory processing that made them stiff. Washing did not help. I continued to give them a chance (I wanted them to work) and slept on them for a week. They were stiff and scratchy throughout. Wanting to keep giving them a chance, I washed again. No better. Then I washed a 4th time with fabric softener. No better. Its not even as though these aren't fantastic; they're not even sufferable. They are so scratchy. I've had high quality sheets and even cheaper sheets. These aren't even close. If you're curious what they feel like, imagine you've just bought one of those inexpensive bed in a bags for your guest room or your child who just insists on the character of the year. Now imagine those sheets that are included so that they can say you get a 10 piece set. I've given them 2 stars because they had fit well enough on my queen bed and seem wrinkle free.

I just put my Mayfair linen sheet on my bed and it is all I was hoping for. One thing I do not believe in skimping on is good sheets. We spend a great deal of our lives in bed and a good nights sleep is essential for being productive! The 800 thread count is everything I was hoping for and fit over my king size pillow top mattress with not problems at all. The price is excellent for the quality and I was happy that I could purchase only the fitted sheet as I already had my top sheet. I was having difficulty finding just a fitted bottom sheet at local stores which is the reason I decided to look online. I'm glad I did!

I received this fitted sheet quickly and the packaging was robust. Upon opening the packaging I was almost ill with the terrible smell. I am not exaggerating when I say it smelled very strongly like dog excrement. The sheet appeared to be well made but a little thinner than I expected, although not cheap feeling and appeared to have a lustrous sheen. I immediately laundered it. Straight out of the dryer the sheet was relatively wrinkle-free, however the sheen had entirely disappeared. When I made the bed it was clear that this sheet will not fit a 14" deep mattress properly. It was advertised to fit between 14" and 18" and clearly this would be impossible (see photograph with tape measure) It would be much better suited to fit a mattress thinner than 12". I could barely hook it over the edges of the mattress without it popping off. I used the sheet for one night and found the texture to be somewhat rough. I have decided to return this product based on my negative experience. Additionally, there is no tag with country of origin on either the sheet or the packaging. For all I know it was manufactured in North Korea.

Don't waste your money. Even for a very inexpensive sheet it is very poor quality. After one wash it is pilly and itchy. So itchy in fact that it woke me up on the middle of the night. Very uncomfortable.
