FOREO Imagination DIY Face Mask Base For All Skin TypesI have a lot of recipes for DIY masks but most of them require a LOT of ingredients and when you just want one or two actives, it can be really cost-prohibitive. This mask base lets me bypass all the extra things I need to buy and I can use fresh ingredients from my garden and fridge.This formula is very soothing and I used some Manuka Honey along with milled oatmeal to help heal and soothe my skin. It worked really well and my skin felt wonderful. It is best applied with a silicone spatula and I just used that to mix it in a small bowl. You only need a teaspoonful to make one mask and since it comes in a tube, you can use a unique formula each time.This doesn't come with any real recipes except a small booklet with images of what you can try. I recommend using google to figure out what will work best for your face. This is a fun base for making homemade masks and facial treatments. It worked well and felt soothing and moisturizing.I tried using it with banana and honey, and another time with oat flour. They include some recipe ideas to get you started being creative!I used my foreo face cleaner to massage my skin as i washed the mask off.

A mi parecer es una mascarilla algo espesa, a lo que no estoy acostumbrada porque las pocas mascarillas hidratantes que he usado eran ligeras, pensadas para no recargar ni engrasar la piel, ya que tengo la piel mixta con tendencia a brillos.La marca Foreo es conocida para mí ya desde su primera versión de Foreo Luna, la cual sigo usando a día de hoy en perfectas condiciones. Aunque es la primera vez que prueba un producto cosmético de la marca.La caja de presentación de esta mascarilla es muy amena, dejando entrever la pasión por las cosas y mejunjes caseros, para dejar volar la imaginación.Su composición, sin muchos de los aditivos artificiales que es sabido que perjudican y son sustituibles, con ácido hialurónico y complejos calmantes para hidratación completa y evitar irritaciones, son componentes que evidentemente tienen que estar presentes en la base de cualquier mascarilla que sea de calidad decente.La cantidad de 100ml está calculada para dar 20 mascarillas, aunque yo en mi primera mascarilla he tenido que gastar casi la cantidad de 3 mascarillas (para 2 personas) por mezclar sobretodo ingredientes difíciles de machacar en el mortero, que es como indica hacerlo en las instrucciones.Apunté en el librito de recetas los ingredientes que usé, el cual me parece muy buena idea y un complemento que anima aún más a mezclar.El problema es que el romero, el tomillo, las aceitunas crudas y semillas de albaricoque son complicados de machacar y al untarme junto con una amiga la mascarilla, la cual quedó de color verde clarito, nos quedaban todos los trozos de hierbas y demás por la cara, se hacía bastante complicado extender la mascarilla y tuve que añadir a posteriori más cantidad de mascarilla a la mezcla.Así que, recomiendo como paso muy importante, primero comprobar que los ingredientes elegidos sean sencillos de machar y sino, tener a mano un molinillo o picadora, que es lo que voy a usar con toda seguridad en mis próximas mascarillas. Quedará mucho más unido a la base de mascarilla y dejar solamente para machacar en el mortero frutas o verduras que sean tiernos o acuosos. Es verdad que picar los ingredientes o molerlos les quita más propiedades al oxidarse más las vitaminas y demás, pero es que de otra forma se complica mucho el uso de la mascarilla y se hace una experiencia menos agradable.En cuanto a su precio, me parece bastante elevado y no me extraña en esta marca, la calidad es indiscutible porque el efecto tras dejar esos minutos que se aconseja, es muy notable. Al menos con la mezcla de ingredientes que yo usé en esa ocasión, nos notamos la piel excepcionalmente flexible, muy elástica y como renovada, no sólo hidratada.Por lo que me parece que a ese precio (40€) el uso de la mascarilla se hace más esporádico de lo que desearía.

I’ve used FOREO facial cleansing tools before so I was excited to give their beauty products a try. This FOREO Imagination DIY Face Mask Base is a great and fun DIY project. It's great for those that want to control some of the ingredients that go on to their face. I went with the 100ml tub option since I could control how much I use at a time and I don’t have to deal with leftover formula. The pack with the individual packets would be a better option if you’re planning to do the mixing with a group of friends or give them as small gifts.The formula is smooth and depending on what ingredient you add it's easy to apply and rinse off. If you’re feeling lazy, the formula can even be used alone. Though it's way more fun mixing your own creation. I love that the sky is your limit with this base. I’d recommend googling some recipe ideas that would be beneficial on your skin type. There is a small recipe book that is included in the box, that is a great starting point. Though, I wish the included recipes book had more recipes rather than images.I'll definitely be purchasing this again in the future!
