Do the car doors open and close?

No, the doors do not open on the Lego Speed Champions Kit, but my Grandson has added open doors on a hot rod version of the 1968 Corvette using pieces from his other Lego sets. Only have photos at present as I am not at his home.

Yes the wheels turn and you can install and remove their hub caps.

Will it be delivered in an amazon box? Don't want the surprise to be ruined

All Lego I have received from Amazon has been delivered in a box. Just don’t let the receiver of the present grab the box…the Legos are pretty easy to hear rattle in box.
