I got this For an art project for my daughter. I thought we only needed a little bit, but we ended up needing quite a bit more... But I needn't to worry, this tube is massive! The colour is absolutely gorgeous. It's a really deep vibrant blue that works perfectly for nighttime skies or deep oceans. It mixes perfectly with other acrylics to change the tone. I found that mixing it with green made for some lovely River colours.. Although acrylic is water soluble, it can stick quite strongly into clothing, so I would recommend giving kids a pinny before using it. Acrylics stick well to many things, but I found that when I painted it onto smooth plastic, it was quite easy to scratch off... So I've now found that you're supposed to prepare smooth a plastics before you paint acrylics onto them. This acrylic paint is no different. I added a layer of mod podge onto the top in order to keep it sealed and to stop it being scratchable. Given how much paint there is in this tube, it's great value for money and it means that you're not constantly looking out for wastage so you can just get on and have fun with the project.

A good paint and a pretty huge-sized tube. It has exactly that Luftwaffe 'grey but a suggestion of green, and works well. I did find in thinning it for spraying that my results with water were far less satisfactory than when using airbrush thinners but I think in part this was due to not washing the plastic model sprues before use. The result was that teh paint beaded up as though on a greasy release agent or such - my fault, not the paint's One thing I might say in use is the nozzle is inclined to release more paint than perhaps I would wish unless used with a very light touch.

He utilizado el Liquitex Basic Acrylic 118 ml – Dorado (Oro Iridescente Nuevo) en trabajos sobre madera previamente sellada y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. La consistencia es uno de sus puntos fuertes: cremosa, uniforme y fácil de controlar tanto con brocha como con espátula. No es excesivamente líquida ni demasiado densa, lo que permite extender el color sin marcas indeseadas y con buena cobertura. El dorado tiene una luminosidad equilibrada, con un efecto iridiscente elegante, sin aspecto artificial. Con dos capas finas se consigue un resultado intenso y homogéneo. También adquirí el amarillo de la misma gama y me ha sorprendido igualmente por su textura y facilidad de aplicación. En ambos casos el pigmento responde muy bien y mantiene estabilidad tras el secado. Para trabajos cuidados donde se busque control y calidad constante, es una opción muy recomendable.
