Ferifer Liquid Iron Supplement 40mg/5ml Spoon Syrup, 10 Spoons in a Pack of 50 ml

Arrived on time, but it is expired dated 12/2022. I’m a little disappointed I should’ve listened to the previous reviews I just thought I’d get lucky. I’ll stick to my SSS Tonic!

I've been struggling with anemia for a couple of years, and I got to a scary place this week with how I was feeling. I thought I was going to have to call 911, and I have went through this before and I knew it was from my iron being dangerously low. I don't really like foods that have iron in it, and I have had a bleeding issue in my body so it has been a challenge. I've had iron supplements like this before, and there are not recommended dosages on the box. If you are ordering something like this you most likely are under the care of a doctor and know what you need. Since iron tends to make me extremely constipated, and I can't afford to go there since I struggle with hemorrhoids every pre-measured spoonful of this I took it the same time as my fiber drink. The first couple of days I took one spoon in the morning and one spoon at night because of how severe my situation was, and then I went to one spoon a day before bed. I started to feel better and not feel so weak on day two. On day four I didn't feel so disorientated. I can't believe my situation was so severe, and these helped get me back on track. with low iron, you really need to be on it for several months and not stop taking iron when you feel better. Then you want to make sure to get blood tests to make sure you're not getting too much or too less. Also, I could tolerate the taste of this. It is a little bit sick like cough syrup. I heard liquid iron can stain your teeth, so I make sure to brush my teeth after I take it. I have no compliance, this really helped me turn things around.

I just bought it and it expired Dic 2022!!!!! Its just NOT ok! I forgot to look at the reviews :(

Arrived 6/8/21 fresh and undamaged with expiration date 12/2022. The Liquid Iron Supplement by Berko comes with 10 individual spoons filled with 1.7oz of the iron supplement . It is convenient to have a dose pre measured out for you in an individual spoon. Each spoon contains 32.1 mg of Iron . The box gives you supplement facts and basic warnings but no instructions. The manufacturer should print basic things on the package such as whether to take with or without food and perhaps a recommendation on whether to mix with a drink or take as is. The product has a strong taste so I personally am taking mixed in cranberry juice as I could not take the taste alone. Even in juice there is a noticeable metal aftertaste.
