The MEEDEN 8-well ceramic paint palette is such an upgrade from plastic ones. The porcelain surface is smooth and easy to clean, so paint doesn’t stain or stick, and colours mix really well against the bright white background. The size is practical, with plenty of room in each well while still being compact enough to fit neatly on a desk. It has a nice weight to it, so it stays put while working, and it feels really sturdy and durable. Overall, it’s a high-quality palette that makes painting feel more professional.

As well as plastic artists' palettes, I've used old saucers, plastic lids and all sorts over the years as palettes for acrylic hobby paints. This glazed ceramic palette is the best I've used in 40 years, by miles! Weighty so it will never move or tip over. If it looks small, I can tell you that the 8 sections are enough for an evening's painting. They're deep enough for mixing up washes or even soaking decals too. And it's so easy to clean up compared to other materials, especially plastic. Unless the paint is really thinned and dried on, a wipe will scrape it off as a thin rubbery sheet. Even on tough, old paint, hot water and soap with a pot scrubber will clean it perfectly. I've used this palette a couple of hundred times in the year since I bought it, and it still looks new. So if you feel the price is a lot for a palette, this might be the one to change your mind - it performs well, cleans up easily and quickly and lasts longer than anything else I've tried.

Great ceramic pallete. Was a present from my son. I used it a lot. Easy to clean unlike plastic ones which get stained and hard to wash. It is a bit heavy but that is good because it doesn't slide or move around when mixing colours.

A fabulous heavy palette that stays in place and doesn’t cause the paint to bead like plastic palettes do. The deep wells hold plenty of paint, making it very practical for watercolour work. It cleans up easily, comes well-packaged, and feels durable. I love this palette so much, I might just buy another!

Deep wells, a good size, no stain from watercolour painting, the size of the pans are large enough to mix and store mixed colours, good value for money.

Nice product, well made, quite heavy and exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. After using cheap plastic palettes previously this is a massive improvement and I wish I'd bought one sooner because it doesn't stain, and wipes clean really easily. Knocked off one star because it was very dusty when it arrived and needed a good clean.

For me, it's a good size (7 x7 inches) and weight (1.26 lbs) and very stable. It is by the side of 9 x 12 inch watercolour pad in the photo. The pallette sits by my right hand and doesn't interfere with access to my two water pots and paints. Being white porcelain it makes mixing colours and washes easy and the wells are deep (.75 inches) - no problem cleaning out individual wells with kitchen roll if needed. I think it is excellent value and Meeden has plenty of variety in pallettes to choose from. And they will last for years, perform better than plastic ones and won't negatively impact on the environment

I sincerely love this palette. I generally work on smaller pieces and this configuration allows me to mix the colors I need in my compact work space and take it with me when traveling. The weight makes it sturdy, the true white allows the watercolor to shine through and the smooth surface is a breeze to clean.

Preciosa paleta de mezclas, me va perfecta para pintar con acuarelas en el estudio. Es de cerámica con lo que pesa lo suficiente para que no se mueva y es muy fácil de limpiar. Que tenga dos tamaños de pocillo es muy práctico para adecuar el pocillo a la cantidad de color que necesito. Me encantó el diseño cuadrado y compacto, tiene el tamaño justo para mi. Me parece un buen regalo para cualquier aficionado o profesional de la pintura o ilustración.

The underside of the center of the palette is slightly more prominent than the corners. Because of this, the "feet" of the palette are not level, which means the palette will wobble if set on a flat surface.

My first reaction when I pulled it out of the box was the pleasant surprise that it was bigger than I expected. That's always a good thing. Second, was the quality of the make. It is solid, hefty without being heavy. The palette is smooth with no hills and valleys that could cause pooling. The wells are nice and deep which I found was great when mixing my colors and getting the last drops off my brush before cleaning to switch/add more colors. I did two quick (if such a thing is possible in watercolors... sigh... exercise in patience) pictures, both heavy with wet-on-wet to take advantage of the deep wells. The paint dried faster than the paper ;) and revived quickly when moving on to the next step in the adventure. Another bonus to the deep wells, I found that it was really easy to clean one well without fear of loosing or contaminating the others colors/wells I wanted to keep - I've never been able to do that before. Very handy. Would I recommend? In a heart-beat!

水彩絵の具に使用。部屋（？）数も十分あり、深さがあるので多めの水でといた絵の具をたっぷり用意できます。仕切りの部分で筆に含みすぎた余分な絵の具を拭えるのも良いです。 手入れは湿らせたティッシュなどで拭き取るだけできれいになるので楽です。 ただ、重さがあるので持ち運び用には向いてません。
