This anti slip paint additive creates a strong floor grip for stairs, steps, garages, walkways, basements, patios, pool decks, and more. APPLICATION: While stirring continuously, add up to 4 ounces of Clear Non-Slip Additive to 1 gallon of coating. Follow application instructions on sealer. In thinner products, occasional stirring during use may be required to keep grit uniform. If applying more than one coat, add Clear Non-Slip Additive to topcoat only. Do not reapply over wet areas. This product was created for use with MasonryDefender Garage Floor Sealer and MasonryDefender Stamped Concrete Sealer, but may also be used with any other latex, epoxy or oil based paint, stain, or sealer. It was added it to polyurethane and carefully applied to the ladder rungs. It is the perfect fine grit solution that will prevent a slip and yet so unobtrusive that it let's the beauty of the wood shine through. I can say for certain it is very fine, almost a powder. Only slightly coarser than baking soda. **Q: can I use this with rusoleum professional epoxy garage coating ?** A: I don't see why not, although the expoxy is a thicker consistency than concrete sealer. **Q: Can I add to water based sealer?** A: Water-based, yes. Read the label before you do so. Water-based isn’t as durable as oil based. **Q: Can it be applied with a paint sprayer?** A: I put it on by hand, pretty easy. probably easier than having to clean the sprayer afterward. but I don't see why It wouldn't work. I will use it in all similar applications in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by S***T on 30 December 2025* I used this to make stucco-type texturing for a dollhouse chimney and porch steps. I added it pretty liberally to my paint and then dabbed on the textured paint (brushing did not work as well) in successive thin layers until it had the evenly gritty texture I wanted. It worked well for this purpose. I like that it was a small container, too, since I did not need much for my little job.
