Combat Tiers: Extension Pack

Does what it’s supposed to do.

Okay, so you need a dragon mini to simulate flight at the table and have your players know what its height is atm. You buy this package, put a sticky/adhesive dot on the top (very cheap on Amazon), and then plop the mini with its based onto the top, and then write on the sides what its current height it. Pure convenience, little setup time.Be careful with acrylic minis, as if you press too hard then the base may crack - but it's easy enough to avoid putting too much pressure.Technically, I am not using this product as intended. Also, you want to buy this product whenever it goes on sale and buy at least two packs for convenience. I find the bigger ones to be unwieldy and prefer the smaller ones which you can, if needed, stack onto each other. I'd honestly give this product a 5 Stars if it was only composed of the smaller blocks - but you can't have everything sometimes (even on Amazon).

Does not break into individual squares. I thought each one inch was a separate block didn't realize they were all connected. You can use to count and measure for kids. If you use for D&D I suggest that you super glue it to a sturdy stand

After deciding to start small, these are the first tiers I've bought, and they do their job. They're a bit snug when piecing together--I didn't even push down all the way--and they took a second to separate. Also, I'm not sure if you're supposed to write on them with dry-erase markers, but with these you can and I haven't experienced any negative consequences of that so far. In all, this was a good purchase, and I'm already considering buying the Base Set from this company.

These are a must-have for the Combat Tier set, really expand it out for more intricate levels.

The Good: These are among the nicest looking, most functional risers I've seen. They are stable and durable, although some sections are slightly tight fitting and took more patience to disassemble. You get two independent sets of adjustable, multi-level platforms, plus different sizes of posts to adjust the heights. You can buy additional add-on posts too (the set comes with plenty but options are good). I like that the whole thing is made of clear plastic - I hate the ones that use orange or pink tinted platforms.The Bad: The box doesn't do a good job of showing what's included in the package, which is a shame since you get a lot of pieces. This set is expensive, even on sale. Also the platform pieces are a bit bulky to store since they have permanently attached lengths of post - you can't break them down into flat sections. Lastly, I wish they would have included a one-square section of post - the various post lengths are all in increments of two squares, even if you buy the add-on posts.
