Excellent Disposable Fountain Pen.
I've used other disposable fountain pens before. This was my first Bic brand. They got it right. If you want to have a fountain pen without the cost, use such a pen where the chance of it being lost is high or just want to try out using a fountain pen without committing, here is your pen.Good color blue ink. Great flow of ink. Note that I enjoy a heavy line and this delivers. Perhaps worth noting is that every disposable I've ever used has a heavy flow of ink and this is no exception.

Perfect Writing Instruments
These are great pens for daily use. They never dry out and they always leave a perfectimprint. We found these first in Europe and are glad that Amazon sells them in the U.S.So much nicer than a ballpen at a fantastic price.

Nice pen, poorly designed cap
The tip of the pens are great for a disposable fountain pen. The length and weight are fine as well. My major issue with these pens is the caps always break.I wont buy anymore because of this major design flaw in the cap. When the caps crack, the pen is basically worthless/trash. 6 of 6 have cracked along the base within a few weeks of purchase.

Caps are flawed - don't get until fixed
The pen writes well but unless you're going to use it non-stop until the ink runs out, wait until they fix the problem with the caps. After you put the cap on the top of the pen it no longer snaps closed.

BIC's New Fountain Pens a Bit Disappointing
As a fountain pen aficionado, I am happy BIC now offers these disposables. I have two criticisms: 1) At $12 a pack, it's a bit too expensive; 2) The ink in the red pen is terrible because it is too light. The black and blue inks are fine, however. Unless BIC reformulates the red ink and lowers the price, I probably would not buy the package again.

Love Fountain Pens - this is a great way to keep using them
These days we spend most of our time on a computer, however I keep a hand written daily log. I had abandoned fountain pens some years ago because of the difficulty of getting ink and/or cartridges. These pens are low cost, easy to use and write well. The lack of choice in nib size is irritating (medium is all that is offered on Amazon) but the medium works well enough. A nice find and I am now well stocked for a while. An excellent buy.

Affordable Style for the Calligrapher During Work Hours. :)
I do calligraphy with an actual calligrapher's pen and tools, but for my everyday non-stop research and writing (not associated with calligraphy- practical uses) I need something that can help me write in my "font" and at ease. These fountain pens are going to be tougher than a ball point pen to use for a person who has not had a lot of experience with fountain pens, though if you have a style that coincides with calligraphy (slanted) then you'll probably have an easier time adjusting. I still use Pilot Precise Rolling Ball V5 pens for a lot of my writing because they are finer in tip, and do not require so much ink or space to write, and can give me a change in writing style, but I love BIC Disposable Fountain Pens for their convenience and style. I get a lot of compliments, though would not advocate this pen for every situation. If you need quick writing speed, or are not very fond of using pens or writing devices- then I would suggest sticking to a regular ball point pen.

Great pen for everyday writing. Performs better than my heavy Cross fountain pen.
Two fine writers I know use these Bic fountain pens to write on their Moleskine journals, which I use. These pens feel great in the hand. The ink does not show through on pages as much as I expected. I was worried about the medium point, but it's really closer to fine point than the medium point of Pilot Varsity fountain pens (which I also love for the solidity of ink flow).
