✨ He's Absolutely Beautiful! ( ⁰̷̴͈ ᴗ҂⁰̷̴͈ )‧˚
The media could not be loaded. At the time of purchase I paid a little over $13+ for this little guy. For an anime figure he was quite affordable and beautifully made. I chose version A over version B, since this variation of the figure most accurately depicts Osamu Tezuka's original character design.Version A's design...Takashi was a mixed racial japanese boy who was kind enough to donate a skin graft to Kuroo when he was in dire need of a skin transplant while in critical condition during major surgery (poor dear was blown to bits and suffered severe damage from an explosion caused by an undetonated bomb on Okinawa's beaches) he eventually lost his mother who suffered irreparable damage from the explosion, she had shielded Kuroo with her body from the worst of the blast. When Kuroo needed a skin graft Takashi was the only little boy that was willing to help when everyone else in the waiting room (his classmates and the parents who were there out of morbid curiosity rather than for support) the others, when asked for help, left without a single glance back while mumbling that it was none of their business and that their kids aren't even Kuroo's friends anyways. Takashi, the only selfless and kind boy of the lot, was the only one who stayed and offered to donate a piece of himself to save his friend. Sadly he ended up moving away before Kuroo had a chance to repay him back for his kindness. When Black Jack grew up to be a successful surgeon he began making efforts to reconnect with his friend (in the beginning he also low key wanted to receive his blessing to remove the graft that was of a different skin tone to one that would match his own since people kept telling him it could hinder his career if he kept it as is) eventually he managed to track Takashi down and they agreed to meet at an agreed location to catch up on each other's lives.Takashi was an environmentalist who lead major protests against major corporations that were actively poisoning the Earth and endangering people's lives for the sake of monetary profits.Takashi, unable to meet him, ended up leaving a note apologizing to Kuroo and telling him why he choose a path of direct action. The privileged want to continue oppressing lower class citizens while poisoning the Earth, and if nothing was done the damage would prove irreparable. Takashi, made efforts to cause tension, as an environmentalist he made constant efforts against the injustices around him. As such he could never stay in one place for too long as the threat of death was always looming... Even so, Takashi continued his work as an activist for the sake of a just cause.Eventually he was assassinated during a protest and Kuroo (due to a news broadcast) became aware of his friends demise, and from that moment on the donated skin graft on his face became the only living momento that remained of his precious friend Takashi. He no longer cared for the opinions of others, was no longer insecure of his two toned face, and wore the living momento of his friend with pride.Since Black Jack is notoriously known for charging exorbitant fees, what most fail to note in the series is that he uses a vast amount of his funds to purchase whole islands, areas of land, etc. in order to preserve their natural ecosystem and to prevent vast devastation that would occur if the land fell into the hands of the companies that care more about profits than preserving the environment or protecting human lives. He does this as a way to repay his friend while continuing Takashi's legacy. Overall the history that goes with Version A carries more value to me as a collector than Version B. Plus at this time I can only afford one, so I chose this precious little one over the one that has the skin graft blue.@izumikyuuhime

Great detailed outfit, but the neck peg is small
I ordered this to see if I could swap heads with other q poskets. The neck peg of this Q-posket is smaller than normal, so the headswap failed (photo is with the head balancing against the background). I think it could work with some putty.
