The unique grip on this greatly helps to correct for the big mistake most of us make while brushing. On my first use I realized I've been holding my brush at different angles on the left versus right side of my mouth my whole life! I've upgraded my whole family to these and won't be buying those basic grocery store brushes anymore, dental work is too painful and expensive to skimp on prevention. I highly recommend these.

The design is interesting since gripping it puts it at a 45-degree angle. The brush head is full and covers multiple teeth. This works to get the right angle for the gum line, but the full brush head keeps you from cleaning between the teeth whereas a soft smaller brush would do better, at least for me.

I heard about this toothbrush on NPR more than a year ago, and eagerly awaited its release. I was very excited to see that it was stocked by Amazon, and ordered a 2-pack right away. I've been using it now for 5 days. I thought it would be a good toothbrush, but I am blown away. My teeth IMMEDIATELY felt like I'd just had a full on professional cleaning. My hygienist is going to be very pleased to see that I have finally resolved the issue of plaque buildup by my gum line! I usually wake up with my teeth feeling fuzzy in the morning, despite brushing before bed. I haven't had that issue since I started using this. I wake up feeling like I just brushed!The indicators are very helpful for getting the right technique, and it really only took me a couple of days to get the hang of it. Only 5 days in, I already don't even need to rely much on them to do it correctly. The instructional videos were right...the Bass technique has a certain feel.My only complaint is that my gums are very, very sore and still bleed each time I brush, but I think it's most likely due to my Ehlers-Danlos rather than anything having to do with the brush. I am hopeful that they will adapt, but if not I will suck it up and still use this brush a few times a week, because it does such an incomparable job!

The size of the brush and handle is MUCH larger than a regular toothbrush. I did feel that the grip guided my hand into making the correct angle when brushing, however after three months of using this brush I felt “trained” and went back to using a regular toothbrush- much cheaper, but now I know what the right angle should feel like.I probably won’t buy again, as the price is just too expensive for two toothbrushes.

Definitely not "your grandma's" toothbrush!!! You can tell just by looking at it, but even more so by brushing! After using old-style skinny brushes, initially this feels a bit bulky, but after just 1-or-2 uses, you realize just how well that handle fits into your hand. And by design, it "insists" on keeping bristles at the correct angle, giving a thorough, surprisingly comfortable cleaning. My dentist remarked on the great condition of my gums before he knew I had begun using MD Brush - which confirmed my thinking that this is one amazing toothbrush. MD Brush is certainly a very small investment for the resulting healthy, extra clean mouth!! I'm so glad they're back.

So far, I have been using this product for about 2 months. I am brushing the way the instructional videos showed. My favorite attribute about this toothbrush is the soft and large bristles. Because of my moderate gum disease, I go to the dentist every 3 months to have my teeth cleaned. When I go back, I will see if this toothbrush has helped any or not. I am happy with it simply for the soft bristles at this point.

I was seriously surprised by this toothbrush. I read a lot of the reviews for it and wanted to see if it could live up the expectation. I've never had a toothbrush where I felt it cleaning the way it does , I cant describe the feeling but you'll know when you use it. I have white spots on my teeth from calcium spots so my teeth look extra yellow around them, and so far my teeth have been more even toned which sometimes happens for a day or two but this is has been the most persistent of almost white teeth now. I definitely believe it's from this toothbrush because just after the first use, my teeth were looking healthier and whiter and stayed the same /better since. I'll have to find some before pictures, because I was not expecting it to work this well or i would've been prepared.

What an excellent brush! I used Sonicare, Braun. This is such a simple brush but does great job! II also got an email with video how to use the brush, which was extremely motivating and helpful. Brushing with MD toothbrush gives you squeaky clean feeling. The statement company makes that this cleans as well as 100 dollar toothbrush is correct--I have few of those... It's a buy for a the whole family!The only thing that I read was--that dentists can't really "decide" what is the best technique for brushing. This company says 45 degrees is the best. I would think that this is not proven aka regular toothbrush might do just fine.
