I always been a Tomboy, plowing through life, no time to look in mirror, throw on army like woods or battle cloths.Would like to someday dress nice, in a dress and sit in a restaurant with people, enjoy their conversation and look nice for one of my boyfriends.When I worked at Brothers Deli in Burlingame, CA years ago there was beautiful Mexican/Irish lady named Maureen. Cute and comical.I was trying to start a business making ear rings. I have always been a beer fan, so tried making ear rings out of various beer cans; the metal part with the name or picture on it. Was using the old usual larger ear ring hooks to hang the pieces on.I asked Maureen's opinion and she did not like my ear rings. Said she likes smaller jewelry with many little parts. She said in a nice way as not to hurt my feelings; most ladies like these small, dainty, pretty things. (I later realized she's right)I bought these ear ring hooks on Amazon to use as wire to fasten together my new porch screen to keep my pet squirrel fluffy outside when I am too tired to play with him.I like these; they are smaller than the big usual ear ring size. Not too small; they still hang and swing the ear ring in the air nice from the ear. Also like the silver color.Don't know if its surgical steel and pure for good health against the skin. Will test them out someday.Mary

I bought these earring hooks to be used on the hand Crafted earrings that i make and sell at local markets and through my etsy.com shop. i always try to go with jewelry metals that are the lest likely to have adverse affects to the wearer. so the problem i have had in the past was finding good quality for a good price that wouldn't disappear a month or two down the road. I like to keep ordering the same product if it is good quality. Why mess with a good thing? i have Found all of that in this product! i love these Hooks they are super shiny bright they look beautiful i have had NOT ONE person complain about adverse affects or problems. another note worthy thing i would like to mention is that the metal is very strong. i have made well over 1,000 pairs of earring before i ordered these hooks and i have always been uncomfortable with the softness of the metal, BUT these ones i'm not worried about i know that if the wearer gets them caught on something or a child gets a hold of them they well be able to hold up to the abuse. i would recommend these hooks to anyone! in fact i just ordered 15 more packages myself and i will be ordering more in the future.

I previously purchased these ear hooks from Beadaholique Inc and they were great! High quality and very satisfactory. They stood up well to bending open and they were properly shaped and matching in color. Very nice to work with and just...well...nice!But watch out. All sellers are not created equal! I recently ordered again and just got some - apparently from Wadoy Wholesale. When I came on to place my order, I saw how cheap they were in price compared to last time I got them, so purchased them via the button on Amazon without even thinking that the seller would be an issue. I was shocked when I opened them. First of all they took 2 weeks to get here. Yes, not past the tentative receiving date, but longer than I feel I should have had to wait. That I could shrug off. But when I opened it, it was full of junk. Literally! There are earring hooks bent out of shape, without the ball & coil, they are flimsy, they appear (with the human eye) to not be all the same gauge, and they don't appear to be silver plated (though I'm not an expert on the subject).So with that said, watch who you buy from. I know I will form now on! It makes a BIG difference.

I recently got into some jewelry making and I figured since some of my older pairs of earrings are in need of new hooks this would work great. I need surgical steel in my ears so that was a HUGE plus! The price can not be beat and I didn't mind waiting for them at all. I am super happy with these little hooks and I plan to make awesome earrings with them.They seem to be crafted really well and each one is in perfect shape. The ones I have been playing with seem to hold very nice and I am not worried about them detaching.Overall. Well made. Nice and secure once attached. As I said they are perfect for all earring needs. I have nothing negative to add at this time.

I was very pleased with this product. It met all of my expectations.For this particular product, the type of material used in the manufacture and creation of the product seems to be of very good quality. One must consider that for any product of this type there is a balance between the type of material used and the cost that is to be passed on to the consumer. For this product, I think it met all of the basic expectations and in many ways exceeded them. The cost to usability and cost to quality factors fall squarely in favor of the distributor and that's one reason for this very good review.I think this is an excellent product and would recommend it to everyone.

I wanted to try and get my hand into the jewelry making business, so I bought these. First and foremost - they are probably the least hypoallergenic thing ever.Then again, my ears are very sensitive. I don't know why I tried them. I can handle gold, titanium and that's literally it. No silver. No surgical steel. Just those two metals. Yet I tried these.But if you know your ears, or your customer's, aren't going to mind the silver plating, they're great. Pretty easy to twist with a pair of pliers, simple to put a jump ring onto, and they're curved well. A few were a bit uneven, the curve a bit distorted or something of that nature, but for the most part about 90% were perfect, 95% total useable.I'd definitely buy again.
