I haven't used this product on my ears, but I can vouch for its usefulness for cleaning out fountain pens. Buy two -- one for narrow opening feeds, and another to cut the tip back for pens with wider or difficult to clean feeds. A little hot water under pressure from this bulb will clear even the worst dry-ink clogs out of your pens.

Hard to tell the size of the syringe from the picture. It’s really big. But works well just the same.

It works as you would imagine but I find the plungers with the narrower holes are better at dislodging earwax. Because of the larger opening on this, it lacked the pressure I needed and didn’t really work for me
