The recording quality is pretty good for the price. It's not studio quality but definitely better than just the regular phone mic

My right AirPod that were connected while using this mic is now distorted when sound comes through and I feel as if this mic had something to do with it because right when I connected it and talked into the mic it was like something shorted out in my talking AirPod so I just returned it.

I used this with my android phone and it worked great out of the box. I love that is has a usb-c charging port. Sensitivity if good. Great for casual use!

this thing broke after two uses.... but the company was really helpful to make sure I was satisfied with the product. they sent me a new working one. this one has worked well for me

I could not get the receiver to operate at all on my OnePlus 6 phone. I do not think it is the fault of this device. I researched and others have had problems with the Type C connector on the OnePlus 6 for sound devices. I plugged this into my IPAD and it worked perfectly in seconds, but I really need it for my phone so I will have to return it.

Item works well for our purposes. There is no way to adjust the sensitivity of the mic so if the speaker is loud, there can be a slight distortion of the sound (not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of). Moving the mic farther away from the speaker’s mouth seems to help limit any distortion. Overall, a good purchase and it’s nice that it works with both Apple and Android phones.
