Great converter

There were bumps in the road but all's good now
Using to power a mobile CB radio for a base station. Haven't had it long but it's working great so far. The fan is audible but not enough to be a bother. 12/07/22 Update: The fan started to sound like it had a bearing going out. Contacted seller. Was sent a free replacement. It sounds like it has a screw rolling around inside right out of box! Just contacted seller, again. Not sure what the seller will do this time. Stay tuned for another update when I hear back. 12/8/22 Update: The seller has been absolutely excellent with communication and customer service! I feel as if I have made a new friend. Seller sent a video of how to open unit to investigate the sound. It was simple and straightforward and I immediately found the loose screw rolling around in there. I quickly found the spot where it belongs , installed it, closed up unit, and tested it. It is functioning fine and no more noise from the fan like the first unit. So, although the first unit had a bad fan and the second had a loose screw which very well could have come loose during shipping, I am very satisfied with the outcome. This seller went above and beyond to make things right for my purchase at no additional cost to me. The product earns 3-4 stars but I'm giving 5 stars due to the fact that the seller made sure I ended up with a 5 star purchase in the end. Awesome!

BRITISH CLANSMAN PRC-320 NEEDS 24V DC.
British surplus PRC radios and my 2 Collins R-392s need 24v dc. This converter does wonderfully. It runs cool. No noise. Terminals best I've ever seen. Small size. I have experimented with many convertrers. This one is the best. I will buy more. Good for HAM radio

We have this plugged in to pumps keeping our fishing boat dry in horrible storms. It is important that they work.

No intake air vents for the heat exhaust fan! UPDATED
Am I the only one to notice? I ordered one and received it quickly in great shape, well constructed and packaged. I tested under no load and it functioned great. Then I placed it under load and it died in ten minutes. I was surprised as it appears to be sturdy and again well constructed. Then i noticed that although the fans is running hard there are ZERO intake air vents! Simply take a close look at the pictures they provide. I had to return it and they accepted it back and refunded my money no problems. Nice, but I needed a converter! Good luck! UPDATE The seller has reached out to me explaining there in fact are air intake vents on the SIDES of the unit. They just may be SMALLER than I expected. OK.Repeat: they accepted my return and refunded my purchase amount quickly and with no problems.

Used with Omega Trailcharger-Excellent
My options were to buy two 50 amp to make sure if one crap out on me I have a back up. Or I could buy a beefier model, this version and that is what I did. This is slightly over built and over amped for the trail charger but having my trusty charger go down is a day ruiner.More than twice the size of the 50amp 12 v that it replaced.

Seems to be well made
I bought this to run my 12 volt transfer pumps in my shop. There's plenty of power and I have not had any negative results
