The ESPRO Team **Q: If I wanted to make coffee with out the cup how much coffee would I need to grind?** A: The french press coffee filters that I purchased are for a full pot. On my french press if I want a strong cup I would do 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of ground coffee per 8 ounces. For a medium strength I would do 1 tablespoon of ground coffee. I do not have any way to say what amount of whole beans you need to achieve the amount of ground coffee you need. Just need to count how many tablespoons of bean you put in your grinder and then measure how many tablespoons of ground coffee it yields. **Q: What is the diameter of the filter?** A: It's 10centimeters.
