The unit was only lightly used for 2.5 weeks.Edit: A representative contacted me regarding the issue with the unit. Suspecting it might be the battery in the remote, a new remote was sent out (received yesterday 05/16/17). It charged right up and the collar is back to working 100%. Great customer service. We have an electric gate but didn't want him to run out when we opened it. Also worked for training other commands. We only used shock a couple times and then only sound. He doesn't seem to know the difference and actually if I have the controller in my hand he knows what not to do!
