Otamatone is a cute, original and fun electronic musical toy, characterized by its body in the form of an eighth musical note, a cute mouth that moves and a fun, vibrant, and tuned "voice." Developed by design company Maywa Denki, it was first launched in Japan in 2009 and has since become the country's best-selling musical toy. How does it work? Otamatone creates electronic sounds that you can control based on the position of your fingers on the touch keyboard.
