Here's the truth. My h and I like to go to a Vietnamese restaurant and order one bowl of soup to split between us. (It's a big bowl). They agree to give us a second serving bowl but transferring the soup is left up to us and it's not easy! (We've ask them for a serving ladle and they don't understand us). Last time we went I put my small gravy ladle in my bag and used it to split the soup. Yay, worked great....but what an idiot, I forgot it there. Doh. No chance getting it back. So the first thing I did was look at Ebay to see if I could find one like the one I had. I found a couple, but then I thought hey wait...I'll check Amazon. I found lots of choices, but thanks to the reviewers here I settled on this one. Holy cow, no exaggeration....this small ladle is everything. What an exceptional design...Modern, pretty, and a wonderful size...a joy to hold. If you need a small ladle, this is the one!
