These festoon 578 bulbs are a great upgrade—much brighter than the stock ones and they give the interior a cleaner, more modern look. The build quality seems solid right out of the box. I haven’t had any CANBUS errors on my 2008 Freelander 2, which is always a relief with LED swaps. Longevity is still a question mark, but since it’s a multi-pack, I’ve got backups if needed. Overall, a good value and a noticeable improvement.

Does the job. Fits perfectly. Very bright white (day) light which is what I like. Will buy more bulbs for different vehicles I own and service for friends and neighbours.

These 31mm DE3175 LED Festoon Bulbs, are very well made with a good electronic architecture: each of the 21 individual LEDs are fed with a constant current sourced by integrated circuits. They give a bright white light, which has transformed the cabin lighting of my Nissan X-Trail 4x4. They also take around one tenth of the current of the standard filament bulbs. This is an important feature when you use the cabin lights for long periods without the engine running, for example when camping. Highly recommended NB: There are two types of festoon bulb holders: end clip and side clip. These LED festoon bulbs will fit end clip holders without problem. But, as there is an aluminium heatsink along the back of the LED bank, there is a danger that side clips will contact the heatsink and blow a fuse. So, in the case of a side clip holder, carefully check that the contact clips, at both ends of the holder, are not touching the LED heatsink. In an extreme case, you may need to carefully file away some metal from the clips facing the LED (It would be highly advantageous if the this festoon LED manufacturer could embody insulating bushes at each end of the heatsink to prevent possible contact with side clips: the heatsinks are anodised, but that is not considered to be sufficient)

One thing that can really date a car is halogen light sources. The easiest and cheapest way to update your car's interior is to add led lights. I'm still a bit sceptical about these, as the price is so low for a set of four, but I'll update my review if anything goes wrong. They are less than a price of a single Philips led bulb,gonna be interesting to see how they hold up, as in my other car I have Philips bulbs. It was really easy to fit these in my partners Mazda CX3 the result is quite pleasing.

These are a nice white light and good intensity, however I will be returning them as they are NOT canbus error free on my Audi TT. Bit of a waste of time really when they say they are error free
