I have POTS and MCAS, so I have cold hands a lot, especially when I'm feeling terrible and need to monitor my heart rate and oxygen closely. A couple other cheaper ones I've tried won't get a reading unless I'm getting great blood flow to my hands, which is obviously useless to me. I need something that can tell me how high my heart rate is and how low my oxygen is so I know when I need to go to the hospital, and so I can give intake my stats so they can get me care ASAP. Anyway, I leveled up and bought this guy. This thing has been great and gotten me through several bad events with accurate readings. I was comparing to the hospital's readings- spot on! Anyway, I would especially recommend to anyone with chronic health problems like me. It's been a great comfort to have this reliable little tool. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Use *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2012* This oximeter seems to be accurate. I've checked it out against the medical oximeters in two doctor's offices and also with the oximeter used by a pulmonary function tester. It is easy to use. Really easy. I had a store bought oximeter before I got this one. I was told by two different people who work with pulmonary patients, that the one I had was not accurate. They were not kidding. The one I had told me that my oxygen level was 98% sitting in a chair without oxygen. When I received the Nonin, it turned out that if I took my oxygen off, my oxygen level would go down to 90% in three to five minutes. With the other device, it would go down to 96% in the same amount of time. Unfortunately, it turned out I am not as well as I thought I was. But at least i no longer run the risk of making myself worse. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not worth the extra money for US made product *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2017* i am disappointed in the Go 2 oximeter. I own three of them they are quite expensive and I would think that they would last for a long time. the one I bought in 2012 just stopped working Its difficult to know why it stopped. the battery has been replaced and the red light which measures the pulse stays on all the time. this would seem to mean that somehing has shorted out inside.
