Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G WH11013 LTE Smartwatch with Vodafone OneNumber and Orange eSIM Qualcomm and Mobvoi Dual Wear OS blood oxygen detection processor system, black screen

This is my first Smartwatch - after holding off for a number of years I felt now was the time to dip my toe in the water and having seen other members of my family enjoy the previous generations of Ticwatch it felt like the right thing to do going with the very latest iteration of this watch family and to have the support and suggestions of the other Ticwatch users in the household to lean on if required. This particular model has only just been released (I pre-ordered on Amazon a week or so before release and the watch was duly delivered by the Official Mobvoi Store, courtesy of Amazon). The watch is nice packed in a smart and sturdy box and the contents are well laid out and secured within this. I found the watch, a quick start guide, a charging cable (no plug but you only need a standard USB charger to connect to which was no problem in my household). Charging with the magnetically connected lead was straightforward and fast and I installed the WearOS app on my Android phone in the meantime. The watch itself is substantial looking but lightweight and the strap being a leather/silicone combination looks and feels really nice on the wrist - I have had admiring comments from people asking me what watch I was wearing and I would say it does look more expensive than it really is. Setup was easy and did not take long, with a combination of the watch and the phone prompting me, I chose a nice watchface to run with initially (called Rhythm) and then started to play with the other apps and settings available before living my life with the watch to see how it worked for me. I have the watch set to always-on-mode as I love to see the animated watch face at any time, this does have an impact on overall battery life but I still found I only needed to charge every two or three days. I have been wild swimming several times a week in the last year so it seemed natural to go for a rugged Smartwatch that would be able to cope with the knocks and bangs (as well as the water!) involved in such pursuits…. This watch did not disappoint in this respect in any way. It is apparently built to US Military Standard 810G - I’m not sure what that covers exactly, but I can say that this watch appears to be very tough. It is advertised as being dust-proof, waterproof (IP68 rated) as well as capable of withstanding temperature, humidity and shock extremes. All I can say is, it has survived my beach and river swimming activities without skipping a beat, I’ve clambered over rocks, sat in the sand and jumped in the sea. There is a an option to run a series of tones (long press the lower button) to drive any residual water from the speaker/mic which I think is worth doing (when I remember). I should say that whilst this is my first Smartwatch so I don’t have anything to compare with, it seems really responsive with no lag at all when running any of the apps that I have played with so far. In terms of support and updates, whilst this watch is currently on WearOS V2, support for the newest iteration, WearOS V3 has been promised at some point which is great news. The 4G/LTE functionality is not enabled yet on my phone - I need to speak to Vodafone as I understand they are offering a contract for the Ticwatch range and it would be really useful to be able to make and take calls and messages away from my phone (whilst swimming for example) - further investigation to come on this. I tend to use GooglePay on my phone whilst out and about so the ability to pay from my watch without getting a phone out of my bag has proven to be really useful and quick to do. I love the ability to quickly review messages - WhatsApp or text etc (including graphic/photo content) - avoiding the need to pull your phone out to take a look and it is even possible to respond to messages quickly and easily with a pre-canned response. I find the message vibration alerts work well and get your attention without too much fuss or audible feedback. App wise you do get a good selection of useful health related apps pre-installed - (both Mobvoi and generic Google variants), SPo2, heart rate, stress etc - I set all of these to continuous monitoring so I can keep an eye on my levels throughout the day (and night - with sleep tracking thrown in for good measure) - so it has been fun seeing how fit (or unfit at times) I appear to be…. I have installed the Strava app and tried this with both walks and cycling which works well - when you reach the end of your activity, simply hit the end button and the whole exercise including the route taken etc is uploaded to your account so you can see it in full detail on your phone, brilliant! The Google Assistant is useful for setting alarms and timers (as well as lots of other things I’m sure!) and I found using my watch to control the Spotify app in the gym made sense. Beyond this there are apps for numerous other purposes available in the PlayStore via the watch. All in all I love my new watch, this may be my first Smartwatch but I can’t fault the experience in any way, from the rugged construction to the lovely bright, responsive screen and decent Multi-day battery life, it’s a winner for me and I’ll certainly be recommending the brand and specific watch model to friends and family in the future.

This is the 3rd TicWatch I have owned, and with each new edition they improve. The packing felt premium, much like the product and taking it out of the box the watch was surprisingly light. Initially I thought the battery had to be put on separately due to the weight. I've , enclosed some photos. The watch with the brown strap is this new edition and the black strap is the older edition. They are similar in size, but the new watch is noticeably thinner. Despite this the performance is enhanced and there is nothing lost from the watch. I've used the watch at the Gym, and the tracking is good, I liked the breakdown of the warm up, fat burning times it gives you. This will be helpful in tracking your workouts. Battery life - One of the biggest frustrations of the first tic watch for me was the need to put on charge every night. I used this all weekend and still had 65% battery at the end of two days with me being away and using the maps function. This is vast improvement on the first version of the pro I had. The strap this comes with does look a little more formal, I will wear this for work. I'm not sure how well the brown goes with the Black but overall I'm pleased with how it looks. The strap is a little Rigid, however I feel like the previous watch this will soften. In any event the straps can be changed so if this is not to personal taste then this can change. The watch charger - this is a small point, but a fairly important one. When I upgraded from my 1st TicWatch to my 2nd. The change in charger was frustrating because i'd purchased chargers for different rooms (i.e. work and home) so when I had the new watch it meant I had to get additional chargers. As I intend to keep my current watch and have 2 watches, I was very grateful to see the same charger design maintained. Lots of cables around can be frustrating so I'm glad they've maintained consistency. Android Pay - works flawlessly Whataspp / SMS - Come through and easy to view from wrist Blood Oxygen - This is an interesting add on- checking mine as 'normal' is always good to see. Heart rate monitor - useful for not only workouts but more generally to track health. Sleep monitor - I havent used this so cannot comment. I cant sleep with a watch on, so this is not a function i'd use. Vodaphone One number: I'm sure this is outside the control of TicWatch - but this seemed like it would be a great add on with the virtual sim. I was expecting vodaphone's one number to operate like my Amazon Echo. however there is a fee of £7.50 a month added on. 'For the few times I'll be without my mobile i decided not to add this. It would be good if an agreement to have this lower priced or free like the Amzon echo could be achieved. Overall, an excellent smart watch which i'm very impressed with and is 100% an improvement on previous versions.

When I first bought the watch, it worked fine and was compatible with my iPhone except phone calls which was fine. After a recent software update on the watch, it will no longer connect to my iPhone and not even work as a normal watch, let alone a smart watch. Amazon have offered zero support, help or solutions and so have the sellers. £200 out of pocket. Very upset.

There are a few pros and cons. The pros being design and battery life. Battery will last a good while with moderate use upto a few days before it needs a recharge in real-time use. The cons being you can't uninstall the proprietary apps which for some is a deal breaker as some apps are doubled up along side Google's apps and being unable to remove proprietary ones limits the flexibility of the device. A good smart watch overall.

Ho preso la versione 4G per sviluppi futuri (e anche perchè passerò un po' di tempo in Francia l'anno prossimo). L'orologio ha prestazioni eccellenti, non lagga e permette all'utente veramente di usarlo ( non come altri orologio che dopo 2 settimane ti passa la voglia). Le prestazioni sono dovute al nuovo chip che permette un ottimo utilizzo dell'assistente vocale. Ottima funzionalità Google Pay: Io oramai pago solo con orologio. Cinturino marrone molto bello, accurato e retrò. Unica pecca, mi aspettano più passi in avanti rispetto al GPS. Resta comunque il MIGLIOR ANDROID WEAR IN CIRCOLAZIONE. 5 stelle meritate.

Ich bin nun ein langjähriger Smartwatch-Nutzer und habe bereits viele ausprobiert. Bei den Ticwatches bin seit der ersten Ticwatch E angekommen, hatte später eine Ticwatch Pro 3 LTE und nun hole ich mir ein Upgrade auf eine Ultra-Version. Auch wenn die Neuerungen nicht allzu vielzählig sind und die Neuanschaffung für mich meine alte Uhr zur reinen Sportuhr macht, kann ich ehrlich behaupten, dass ich aufs neue positiv angetan bin. Die Verpackung und Beilagen fühlen sich nach wie vor sehr hochwertig an, immer eine Freude es auszupacken. Die Überraschung war aber das Lederarmband! Auch die einfache Pro-Version hatte eines dabei, aber dieses hier sieht und fühlt sich viel hochwertiger an. Bei der alten Uhr war ich gezwungen es durch ein Metallarmband auszutauschen, da es einfach nicht überzeugte. Und wenn wir schon dabei sind... das Tauschen ist ohne besonderes Werkzeug sehr leicht möglich: An den Enden des Armbands, welche mit der Uhr verbunden werden, befinden sich kleine Hebel. In wenigen Augenblicken kann man verschiedene Styles anwenden und je nach Kleidung anpassen. Großes Lob für diese Umsetzung! War bei einigen Konkurrenten leider nicht der Fall. Desweiteren gibt es ein etwa ein Meter langes Ladekabel, welches sich mit einem Magnetclip verbindet. Es ist mit dem Vorgänger identisch und daher kann ich dazu sagen, dass es zuverlässig seinen Dienst erfüllt und ich hatte noch nie das Problem, dass der Clip von selbst abgefallen war, oder die Verbindung beim "anclippen" nicht fand. Ansonsten gibt es noch die typischen Papiere wie das Einsteigerhandbuch und Sicherheitshinweise. Habe ich aber zugegeben nie gelesen, denn die Handhabung ist sehr intuitiv, aber dazu später noch mehr. Optik und Haptik Trotz der Größe fällt vor allem das geringe Gewicht sofort auf. Das ist wohl der Verwendung eines Kunststoffs zu verdanken, welcher aus meiner langjährigen sportlich aktiven Erfahrung sich als sehr robust erweist. An der oberen Seite befindet sich jedoch ein dekorativer (nun gerillter) Metallkranz mit den Minutennummern. Auf der Seite sind zwei Knöpfe, von denen der obere die App-Übersicht öffnet und der untere Frei belegbar ist. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, aber ich glaube, dass der Druckpunkt bei der Ultra Version etwas angenehmer ist als bei der alten Pro. Das kann aber auch am Alter der Uhr liegen. Insgesamt wirkt die Uhr weitestgehend wie eine klassische wertige Armbanduhr. Mir ist dieser Aspekt besonders wichtig und daher bin ich sehr glücklich darüber, dass die Ticwatch nicht wie viele ihrer Konkurrenten wie Plastik-Spielzeug aussieht. Hier macht Mobvoi alles richtig! Betriebssystem und Nutzung Die Einrichtung von Android Wear ist sehr simpel: Einfach auf dem Smartphone die Wear-App herunterladen und dem Assistenten folgen. Nach etwa 5 Minuten ist es schon fertig, wobei man die meiste Zeit nur wartet. Danach sollte man noch die Uhr an den Strom anschließen, damit sie sich schnell alle Updates holt. Anschließend kann man sich die nötigen Apps auch direkt auf der Uhr aus dem Play Store installieren und einrichten. Die Performance ist nach wie vor sehr gut, da hier auf dem Smartwatch-markt es deutlich weniger umfangreiche Software-Updates gibt. Die allgemeine Bedienung von Android Wear ist anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, insbesondere wenn man noch nicht die Updates installiert hat, welche tatsächlich daran feilen. Aber aus meiner Erfahrung, lernt man mit der Zeit ein paar wichtige Sachen: 1. es gibt mit dem Google-Assistenten eine umfangreiche Sprachsteuerung die nur einen Wisch entfernt liegt 2. es gibt viele praktische Watchfaces, bei denen einzelne Elemente zu anpassbaren Shortcuts gemacht werden können. 3. man darf nicht vergessen, dass es einen anpassbaren Hardware-Button gibt (ich habe hier "Handy suchen"-Funktion daraufgelegt) Insbesondere muss man auch den zweiten Punkt loben. Android Wear bringt schier endlos viele Watchfaces und es lohnt sich hin und her zu probieren. Akku und Display Die Besonderheit der Ticwatch im Vergleich zu jeder anderen Smartwatch ist wohl die Akkulaufzeit. Hier muss man fairerweise sagen, dass mit 45 Tagen geworben wird, aber diese nur in einem "Essential"-Modus möglich sind. Dabei scheint, dass Android Wear Betriebssystem herunterzufahren und alle smarten Features und Apps sind unerreichbar. Aber es werden immerhin Schritte gezählt und die Uhrzeit angezeigt. Mit demselben Trick hat die Ticwatch auch ihr markantes Always-On-Display: es handelt sich dabei wohl um eine klassische energiesparende Digitaluhr, welche transparent gemacht werden kann und darunter das farbige LCD zum Vorschein kommt. Leider lässt dich diese Digitalanzeige nicht anpassen, aber dafür bietet die Uhr etwa drei Tage im Smartmodus (ohne Sporttracking). Immerhin kann bei der Ultra-Version der Uhr nun die Farbei eingestellt werden! Wie sich dieses vereinfachte Display verhält kann man gut einstellen bis hinzu es komplett zu deaktivieren. Und wenn es wie mich stört, dass die Digitalanzeige sich von der Smarten-Watchface unterscheidet, dem kann ich empfehlen nach Ticwatch 3 Watchface im Playstore zu suchen. Es gibt smarte Watchfaces, welche das Design der Digitalanzeige nachahmen und es somit zu einem feinen Übergang machen! Fitness und Sport Die Uhr kann eigentlich alles übliche tracken: GPS, Puls, Blutsauerstoff, Schritte. Dafür kann man die mitgelieferten Mobvoi-Apps nutzen und besonders für spezialisiertes Training sind sie auch sehr gut zu empfehlen und sehen ebenfalls hübsch aus. Aber wem es nur darum geht rudimentär den Puls samt Laufgeschwindigkeit zu erfassen und die Schritte an die Krankenversicherung zu übertragen, dem dürfte auch Google Fit reichen. Beide App-Welten mischen funktioniert natürlich! Den Puls und die Schritte erfasst die Uhr sehr zuverlässig und auch das GPS läuft tadellos. Nur den Blutsauerstoff kann ich bei mir nur auf der inneren (haarfreien) Seite vernünftig messen. Wird vermutlich bei den meisten Männern so sein. :D Bei der neuen Ultra gibt es nun einen Kompass und einen Barometer. Beide habe ich sofort ausprobiert und als funktionstüchtig bestätigt. Das Barometer wäre vielleicht etwas für Bergsteiger, ansonsten nur eine nette Spielerei. Der Kompass hingegen ist nützlich beim navigieren, besonders auf dem Rad! Nicht schlecht also. :) Das bemerkenswerte ist, dass diese Uhr mit installierter Sim-Karte auch ohne Handy perfekt funktioniert. Einfach Bluetooth Kopfhörer verbinden! Zum Musik hören gibt es viele gute Apps und ich selbst nutze Youtube Music und kann es sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Hörbücher kann man glücklicherweise nun auch wunderbar direkt über Storytel hören. Leider aber nach wie vor kein Audible. Für mich ist dadurch Joggen und Fitness endlich mit Sporttracking und Entertainment gleichzeitig überhaupt möglich geworden. Zudem kann man auch telefonisch erreicht werden, oder selbst einen Anruf ggf. auch einen Notruf tätigen. Auch als Fahrradcomputer bzw. Navi lässt sich die Smartwatch super nutzen. Die Möglichkeiten hierfür sind auf jeden Fall sehr umfangreich! Verbindung und Mobilfunktion Wohl zur Akkuoptimierung verbindet sich die Uhr normalerweise nur über Bluetooth an das Smartphone. Sollte dieses nicht verfügbar sein, so wird WiFi (falls eingerichtet) genutzt und erst anschließend wird mobiles Internet verwendet. Somit bezieht die Uhr eigentlich relativ selten mobiles Internet und selbst die Anrufe werden standardmäßig über Bluetooth vom Smartphone "gestreamt". Zum Telefonieren besitzt die Uhr einen kleinen Lautsprecher mit Mikrofon. Diese sind okay und sowieso eher eine Notlösung wenn die Kopfhörer nicht in Reichweite sind. Die Verbindungsqualität ist ausreichend gut, jedoch muss ich sagen, dass ich beim Joggen durch den Wald manchmal schlechten Empfang hatte als ich angerufen wurde. Verstanden wurde ich trotzdem und daher keine große Kritik. Was aber etwas schade ist, dass mobiles Internet nur Vodafone geht oder zumindest nicht mit O2. Da scheint, aber insbesondere eben O2 Schuld daran zu sein. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Ticwatch Ultra eine gelungene Fortsetzung der Reihe darstellt und auch in der neuen Version durch ihre hochwertige Verarbeitung, das ansprechende Design und die intuitive Bedienbarkeit überzeugt. Mir fällt besonders positiv das verbesserte Lederarmband und der angenehme Druckpunkt der Knöpfe auf. Das Betriebssystem Android Wear erweist sich weiterhin als zuverlässig und bietet zahlreiche Anpassungsmöglichkeiten. Somit gehört die Ticwatch Ultra zu den besten Smartwatches auf dem Markt. Die Konkurrenz ist entweder nicht hübsch, viel zu überteuert oder lebt in einem eigenen Software-Ökosystem.

En mi caso puedo aportar mi granito de arena sobre el TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra 4G/LTE Smartwatch. Tras varios días de uso, este Ticwatch me gusta mucho, hasta el punto que en mi opinión es el mejor Smartwatch con Wear Os de este 2022. Lo más destacable: - Acabados premium por fuera, el reloj se ve precioso y de calidad puesto en la muñeca. - Fluidez total en su interior, las aplicaciones las mueve sin presentar ningún retardo y es que el nuevo procesador 4100+ se nota. - La batería en modo inteligente y con los sensores activos me dura entre 2 y 3 días, lo cual es muchísimo para un reloj con sistema operativo Wear Os. Y si pasados los 3 días no me he acordado de cargarlo, pongo el reloj en modo esencial y me dura sin problemas hasta la siguiente carga. - La doble pantalla hace un gran servicio a la batería, como novedad respecto a versiones anteriores de la marca, tiene retroiluminación que se puede personalizar con distintos colores. - Mide más de 20 deportes, lo he probado para mis rutas de running y GPS, pasos, altura, distancia y frecuencia cardiaca muy precisos. Todos estos datos y muchos más (velocidad, ritmo medio, mapa de la ruta. , ritmo vueltas, Vo2, frecuencia y longitud del paso) los puedes ver desde el reloj o desde la app especifica de Mobvoi. - Precisa medición del sueño, detectando los tiempos que he pasado en cada fase que he tenido durante la noche, ritmo de pulsaciones y el oxígeno en sangre. - Me ha sorprendido que mida la fatiga mental y la energía, no se bajo que parámetros realiza estas mediciones, pero me ha parecido original y novedoso, me ha gustado ir contemplando las variaciones, en mi opinión acertadas, que voy teniendo a lo largo del día. - El reloj es capaz de medir el estrés y según el manual te avisa en caso de detectar latidos irregulares del corazón. - Asistente de Google incluido, funcionando y muy bien. - En cuanto a apps, dispone de todo el amplio abanico que tiene la Play Store de Google, se pueden contestar whasapps, me ha gustado que se pueda escuchar música online mediante Spotify o YouTube, también puedo hacerlo localmente mediante las canciones que me he descargado directamente al reloj, el cual tiene 8 GB de capacidad de memoria. - No es el primer reloj que he tenido de esta marca, visto lo bueno que me resultó el Ticwatch pro respecto a otras marcas (algunas muy conocidas) que anteriormente he tenido, me decidí a repetir la compra con Movboi, pero esta vez en versión LTE. - Estoy muy contento con él, un reloj que tiene y hace de todo, independiente del móvil, con certificación militar (polvo, temperaturas, agua, golpes), si como está previsto en 2022 actualiza a Wear Os 3, es un reloj que va a durar años compitiendo con los mejores, totalmente recomendable la compra. A mejorar: - Cuando antes deberían intentar actualizar a Wear Os 3.0, ya que con este hardware sería imbatible y la brújula que aún no está operativa.

Overall, it's great, but the application of the phone sucks if you are using iOS. Also, the eSIM function would only work in UK as I tried it won't work in AU with other carrier. The screen and battery died within less then a month
