Love this helmet, great vision through it comfortably to wear, and definitely looks the part. Got great sensitivity too. Well happy. I remember years ago these helmets would set you back about £200 plus. Can’t fault this at a great price.

Trying to stick weld anything without this marvellous piece of kit would be impossible if not probably dangerous! Described as also solar powered, really not sure what impact that has on the battery life, particularly as most of my welding went on inside the garage. The instant darkening feature means that you never lose sight of the tip of the electrode after the arc starts. Well worth the money spent on this.

Only used this hood a few times. A few days ago set up the parameters and hit the test button. All ok.Started to weld and all seemed normal. However, later my eyes were sore.Pointed screen towards the sun and it did not darken, stayed green!! It alternated between green and and black even though the sun was at it's brightest. Pressed the test button and it was fine. Pointed screen towards sun and it stayed green!The auto darkening does not work as it should. No info in support document.My eyes are still painful. This item could have blinded me!!!!
