Great blanket
Love the blanket. It came in a blue zip up suitcase type bag but wasn’t in a sealed plastic type packaging so I was concerned if it was used. As I ordered new. It smelled clean, no odor & the color good as shown in the pic. The blanket is thin, beautiful, nice texture & warm, wonderful & heavy like I needed it. I’ve been able to sleep well with it. It slides off me with the other blankets under so I’m trying to figure out if it’s best not to use other blankets, or place them on top. We have cold winters so I like the extra. It makes it hard to get out of bed as it’s so comfy. Thank you for this product!

From a skeptic to a believer !!
I'm an old guy and don't impress easily. I suffer from extreme neuropathy and agitation in my legs and feet and a good nights sleep is a rarity. I honestly saw a weighted blanket as just another gimmick. I initially ordered a #25 one, but it was too heavy, and I now have a #15 one on a queen. It takes a little getting used to but once over the adjustment curve I am so impressed. It adds a feeling of comfort and because of its "small pocket" weighting it fits every curve (I still have a few)...like a nice big hug ! I am getting some great nights sleep now and am in a better mood through the day because of it. I was worried about it being hot and stuffy, but just put it on my covers as is, other than the weight itself I don't notice a difference. Bottom line, best small money I've spent in a long time. Hope some of you find this helpful!

Really soft, good weight. Sensory bumps are okay for my opinion.
My wife got me a basic Walmart weighted blanket a handful of years ago that finally started leaking. Easier to fall asleep again. Bought this one to replace the old one. Only been a few days but it's very soft. I'm not sure how to feel about the sensory bumps yet. Probably because they arent broken in yet. But I like to move my feet at night like a cricket so it's nice for that 😅 If your not sure which one is best for you, use the body weight chart, but results still might vary person to person. So far I'm liking it.

Awesome
I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It is very nice and seems to have good material. She covers up with it all of the time so I have to say it has a good heat distribution. Not sure about cooling. It is very soft. The material seems nice, but we haven't washed it because it weighs 15 lbs and I don't to put it in our home washer.

Perfect for a kid who struggles to sleep
We’ve been really happy with this weighted blanket. I bought the 40” x 60” size for my 11-year-old, and it’s made a noticeable difference in his sleep. He settles down faster and says it helps him sleep better through the night. The blanket itself has a soft, comforting feel without being too heavy or stiff. No fuzziness. Looks nice on the bed. I think this size is perfect for a kid’s bed. It’s large enough to cover him fully and stay in place, which smaller ones don’t always do. Weighted blankets do tend to get warm: perfect for winter but may be a little warm in summer. (we use our AC in the summer so this is not an issue.) One thing to know about weighted blankets in general is cleaning. You have to be a bit careful. I wash ours on a delicate cycle and then hang it to dry. Overall, definitely recommend, especially if you have a kid who struggles to wind down at night.

The weight will let you fall asleep and wake up at exactly the same location on the bed
So far, I am pleased with the product. Personally, I wish the color was somewhat lighter, but that’s a matter of personal taste. What I like about this weighted blankets is that it kept me staying in the same place on the Matress in the same place that I awoke in many hours later. With a heavy blanket like this one, I was surprised that when I awoke, I was laying in the exact same position as when I fell asleep. Presumably the heaviness has something to do with pleasantly keeps one from thrashing about the bed. I think that the value for money is excellent.(I did purchase it on a lightning deal and may have paid 20% or so less than the list price). It would still be a good deal at a higher price. I think I slept better because of this blanket than some other blankets I might use. I believe that there will be a way that I can wash this blanket at some point in time. I am pleased that there are seems around the entire blanket. The blanket is easy to use and because it keeps One from moving about the bed. It has a calming effect and may allow a person to fall asleep more easily. I do not detect an odor of any kind from the bedding material. FYI,This is not the first heavy blanket that I have purchased. I received one with a bed I bought, and though it was only wide enough for one person, I have used the blanket for a couple of years and liked it. However, cleaning was a difficulty. To clean the former blanket, I would need to pull strings at perhaps eight locations or 10 locations along the cover for the inside portion of the blanket. To separate the washable outer cover from the interior lining. It took some time to release the inside from the outside. This was problematic as I was informed that I should not wash the inside, but only wash the outside. Though I did wash the outside, I also needed to sleep, and therefore slept before the entire outer cover could be washed and dried. Knowing the difficulty there would be and putting the outside cover over the inside, heavy blanket, I never got around to putting on the cover, and thus the inside heavy portion of the blanket became somewhat dirty with use. It’s nice to know that this new blanket is one that has seams around all the edges and that if it were to be washed, all of the blanket would be washed together. I saw another reviewer questioning how the inside heavy portions of the blanket could remain evenly distributed. I suspect based on the previous blanket that I purchased that there are probably 4 x 4 or 6 x 6 squares or pockets of material containing the ceramic beads, and that therefore the beads stay in place. As mentioned above readers should be aware that I have had two years of experience with a similarly structured waited, blanket,, and I think of this the one I am reviewing to be better. I think that the blanket is designed well. I am using the Matress during a California winter. I do not know how it will be in the summertime. I preferred the feeling of the material of the prior blanket I had, but I am satisfied with the material on the new blanket. I think that one of the reasons the new blanket is particularly helpful to me. Is that the mattress upon which I sleep is one in which The mattress has some give, though it takes time for one to sync into the Matress and once one has sunk into the mattress, they are less likely to move. With this weighted blanket that I just purchased it makes it even less likely for them to want to move till the morning. I consider this to be an advantage. Overall, I am very pleased with the blanket so far.

Not bad, but not for me.
Initial impression on day of receipt: Okay so far. Package received per schedule. Box had extra tape, so it might have come open a bit during shipping (it is relatively heavy), but the box material was not torn. It came very neatly folded with a L'AGRATY insert in one of those zippered plastic comforter bags that all looks like original packaging. There were no loose beads in the bag or box, so I surmise this is not a used item. The weight and size are very close to advertised. The seams all look intact all around via casual inspection. My guess is this will not stand up to any rough handling, though. The outer cloth (polyester) is soft, but very thin. The care instructions say it is machine washable. We'll see. The distribution of bead weight is somewhat haphazard. Some of the 6x6 in panels are thicker with beads than others. I have not yet determined if the beads can migrate from one panel to another. There are six tabs to secure the blanket in a cover - three on each of the long sides. I don't have a cover, so cannot say how well that works. It does have a bit of an unpleasant odor. It's of the sort that you become accustomed to it, until you go away and come back to it. Time will tell if that will go away after airing out for awhile. This is obviously intended to just sit on top of a queen sized bed, not drape over the sides at all, though the color is about as ugly gray as you can get. Some thin bedspread on top might do to hide the color and reduce the need for washing. I did an initial test of effect of being under a weighted blanket - with it doubled over me in a napping position on a sofa. What it did for me in that initial test was to help me notice that I was tensed up somewhat in that position. In that regard it works as intended to help one relax more. I'll try to remember to add more as my experience with it continues. Update: I took it off the bed and put it away for later testing. Reason - the weight pushed my foot into an odd angle and pretty much held it there all night, so that I awoke with lightly painful tendons, and the pain did not go away (natural endorphins) with normal activity, but got worse a couple days later when it apparently happened again. Sleeping without the blanket allowed my foot to recover and I've had no similar pain since then. I might try again with the blanket not covering my foot area. Update again: I put it on again. This time I laid it sideways across the bed with the bottom foot or so of the bed uncovered so it wouldn't weigh on my feet so much. Now that it's warmer here (no need for a blanket at all) I took it off again. The problem with the feet moved up to my knees and elbows, which got pressed down more than without the extra weight. So final assessment: It's ugly color matches nothing. It was cheaper than all other similar products. It initially had an odor, but that dissipated away fairly quickly. The distribution of beads between squares was uneven. I didn't notice any leakage, either between squares nor out out of the product. Once I laid it sideways, it tended to get bunched up when rolling over during sleep cycles. I may have had some sounder sleep with it than without it. It's not a bad product. I have not tried washing it. I'm afraid the washing machine might tear some of it apart and I don't want any bead leakage. The negatives for me outweigh (pun intended) the advantages. I'll probably be giving it away.

I returned this as it was dirty and worn when it arrived
The actual weight was great but there was stains and scuffs and the the little balls they I guess weigh it down coming out - I opened it and immediately noticed enough stain and damage to justify a return

Does help me sleep
This weighted blanket really does help me fall asleep much faster and I find I’m able to sleep through the night with it. But, I wake up drenched in sweat. I read that it was cooling, but that’s definitely not the case. I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it during the summer months. It’s also really difficult to get into a duvet cover. But, I’m amazed at how quickly I fall asleep and how long I stay asleep since getting it. I just wish it wasn’t so hot.
