So there are so many different products now that deal with beard treatment such as conditioners, oils, balms, etc. I grew out my beard as of late and figured I'd see what all fuss was about with these types of products. After scrolling through pages of products on Amazon I could see there were several options, (Amazon is awesome this way). After seeing brass knuckle beard combs, beard soap bars, etc., something kept bringing me back to the bossman. I was intrigued by the beard "jelly" consistency vs. a normal oil. After reviewing all three scents, (they describe each in detail which I like), I chose the gold. I liked the idea of the light, clean lemon. So I have been using it a couple of days and I must say I don't think I need to look further for my brand. To top it off I received an email from bossman to make sure I know that they care about what I think of their product and that they back their items and are a proud FBA vendor with Amazon. What can I say? I love the product, love that they care about their customers. Reminds me of the customer centric Amazon itself. You know what is interesting? That they tell you use a "small amount...and to only use conditioner twice a week." Other companies want you to use "liberally" so that you use it up quickly so that you have to buy more. Bossman wants you to have a quality experience and a quality beard. Conditioner: left beard feeling light and clean Beard jelly: shake it well and then apply...it really has a jelly feel which is awesome Beard balm: locks all of it in place. My beard had an awesome sheen and the moisture was locked in and lasted all day. The wife loved the lemon oil scent and that's always a plus. ;) I will look at buying the other scents soon...unless the Bossman himself wants me to review them for him on YouTube. You just let me know. Thanks Bossman and company for caring about customers and staying true.

November 2016, I decided to just let the beard grow. Yes it is gray, and patchy, and never looked good in the past, but I’m not getting any younger. So I grew it out just to see what I would get and have live bearded for about a year. Since then I have tried different beard oils, balms and butters. But this was new. A conditioner specific to beards, and an oil that was a jelly. I watched the videos on the BOSSMAN website, and was intrigued. I almost bought just the conditioner, but saw that the best deal was the starter kit. So the package arrived and this morning I put the conditioner, jelly and balm to work. First, the GOLD scent is really nice. I smell like a Christmas tree (pine). My wife, who hates my beard, loves how I smell. Also, the pine scent fades after a little while. (so it seemed to me. Others around me might have a different view) The conditioner is easy to use. Not sure I used enough or too much, but time will tell. Let it sit for two minutes and washed it out. Beard feels slick now. Nice. Post shower, used the jelly. Shook it up real good, and applied some. Pine. Feels different than your typical oil. Lastly, balm the beard and again, pine, and seems to be holding down the fly-aways. So far so good. You get a lot of product for the $26 dollars. This could very well be my winter beard survival kit. Yes, I plan to buy more.

I've been using Bossman Gold for a few months now. It is hands down the best collection of beard care products I've used. Conditioning, protecting, managed, with a really mild scent that's not overpowering like many other products I've tried. The beard jelly is the best oil I've ever used. Leaves my beard feeling nourished and doesn't leave my face overly oily. It's easy to use and stays all day in the harshest conditions. The beard balm is great as well. Keeps my unruly hairs in place and protected. The only complaint I have is that the balm can be a really tough to spread in colder conditions. I managed by running the tin under warm water for a few minutes before trying to apply the balm. I haven't gotten to use the conditioner for very long. However I've already noticed the difference the conditioner makes in the softness of my beard.

The Conditioner really makes my beard feel soft, The jelly so far makes my beard feel healthy and nice and soft especially combined with the conditioner. The balm is really hard however, I have to really dig in with my thumb to get some out, once I have some in my palm and am able to smooth my beard out it definitely keeps my beard in check throughout the day, Overall I gave this product a 4 star for 2 reasons, one is how hard the balm is and the other is the lack of scent, I was really disappointed in the scent or lack there of, I was hoping for a nice strong manly smelling product but it is very delicate, some may like that but I prefer to really get punched in the nose with a beard products scent, especially if it’s advertised as a “scented” product. I’ll definitely buy this brand again, maybe try a different one in hopes of a more potent scent.
