The best sanding discs on the market. Very little dust and I enjoy sanding with this product. A true breakthrough product. Worth the extra cost.

After seeing all the reviews online regarding this relatively new sanding system I decided to go all in and bought not only these sanding discs but also the 3M Xtractor orbital sander. Very glad I did. So much better, faster and cleaner than prior orbital Sanders and sanding discs. Many reviews say these discs alone will impress regardless of the sander used but I cannonly speak to their performance on the 3M sander. The sanding is faster, finished surfaces are better, and dust collection is improved. Of note I did NOT buy the 3M dust extractor and the improved dust collection is with the discs and sander alone

First time using these they cut way smoother and last longer than any other disk I had used in the past highly recommended

These are the best sanding discs I have used in my orbital sander. When I have them on and the shop vac hooked up to my sander, I have no dust in the room thanks to the construction of the discs and the finish quality is excellent. Since the dust extraction using these is so good, there is none of that annoying dust residue interfering with the effectiveness of the sander. A bit more expensive than others but they last a lot longer.

I will never buy the cheap stuff again! This sandpaper is - hands down - the best I have ever used. It cuts faster, stays cleaner, and lasts longer. Ultimately, it costs less than cheaper discs because you don't have to replace it as often. As a result, an added benefit is in time spent sanding rather than switching out discs.

Once I discovered 3M’s Xtract sandpaper, I’ve quit using any other brand. The netting allows dust to be sucked up regardless of how many hole you have or the pattern because it’s basically porous all over. It’s thinner as well and because of that, it’s recommended to use an intermediate pad saver which cost a few bucks. The pad saver preserves the hooks on your sanding pad from poking through the Xtract netting and wear down to the point where you’d need a new pad. The pad savers appear to last quite some time as well. Not only does this brand cuts faster it’s cleaner if you use a vacuum for dust extraction. Just let it do the work, moving you random orbital sander about an inch per second. Pencil marks are removed with just one pass using 100 grit paper. The only downside I’ve experienced is the edges fray easily against corners, etc.

Throw away your traditional sanding discs, use 3M Cubitron II and I promise you'll never go back. These are a literal gamechanger, best sanding product I've ever used. TLDR: pricier, but makes sanding through the grits way quicker and with better results (for me). Pros: - Greater Control. These discs will remove material as fast or as slow as you desire. Very responsive to pressure. - Consistent performance. The design of these disks gets you airflow across the entire surface of your sander pad and dust simply won't clog these disks. - Extended Use. Super durable, doesn't clog, each disk lasts much longer for me than paper discs. Cons: - Pricier than traditional paper discs, but (in my opinion) this is offset by how long they last. - The hook and loop was "looser" for me and didn't secure the discs to my sander as much as I'd prefer. That being said, the discs were still secured satisfactorily once pressure was applied sanding a surface and the velcro was "seated". This could also be a problem with my particular sander model.
