Was shopping for a new / replacement battery for my old Craftsman impact wrench and came across this adapter. It's cheaper than buying a battery. Plus I have 5 Milwaukee M18 batteries. So I said let me try this thing out. The adapter / converter works fine. Not difficult to engage onto battery and then on to impact wrench. Not much tech into making the product simple design. Just 2 wires and 4 terminals if you don't count the USB port, which I don't really need// remember to remove the battery from adapter or batt will slowly drain because USB will be ON. If you noticed the top of the adapter only has two terminals, not 4 like the original battery has, but that's not a problem because the impact wrench only uses 2 terminals inside the handle to power it. Overall I'm satisfied with this product and also saved me some cash.

I have these old Craftsman battery operated tools. I have the batteries too. But those batteries are old but do hold a charge. However, those craftsman batteries go flat pretty quick. So the tools have been sitting for some time on a shelf. I thought of garage saling them but, luckily, I didn't. Enter this little adapter jobber. Now i am back to using those old craftsman tools again. Sure I have other, newer, battery operated tools. But now I use the Craftsman stuff too. I love it. What guy doesn't want or need more tools? None with a brain in his head. I have a drill, circular saw, a saws-all and a light. This adapter WORKS in ALL of them. I will buy more adapters so I can just leave them in the tools except the light. It will be garage saled. I like it, it works, me happy with that adaper jobber and will be getting more. Yeah, buddy!

I wrote a review stating that this adapter did not fit but I was wrong I just did not have it hooked up right , I am sorry about my first review it works verry well if you hook it up right

I was going through my tools when I came across two of the old style 20-volt DeWalt drills I have that are in great shape, but the batteries have long since called it quits. I found this adapter that allows me to use the newer style 20-volt batteries rather than having to buy the old style again. I read reviews and the cheaper version of this same item (not made by DeWalt)) had average reviews so I decided to bite the bullet and buy the name brand. Construction and material are excellent as you would expect for DeWalt, and the batteries lock up nice and tight to the adapter. The only complaint I have is it is a very tight fit seating the male end into the drill housing and a bit of a challenge to get it back out as there is literally no play between the two. That aside I now have the use again of two DeWalt drills again and the flexibility of using various Mah batteries that I already own with them.

Simple but works well. Now I don’t have to throw away perfectly good craftsman power tools from the C3 series. I have a lot of the M18 batteries from Milwaukee as they are more modern and more readily available than the antiquated craftsman C3 series.

Over the past few years I have standardized on DeWalt for all of my cordless power tools…one battery platform for everything. Maybe 5-6 years ago I grabbed a Craftsman 19.2v C3 cordless 1/2”w/ 2 NiCd batteries during a “going out of business” sale at my local Sears. Long story short, the NiCd batteries didn’t last and the tool has sat in a drawer for the past 3 or so years. I was about to toss it and buy a new DeWalt 1/2” 20v max impact but then came across this adapter. The result is a perfect tight and secure fit between the Craftsman tool and my DeWalt 20v Max batteries. Can’t say it doesn’t look a bit wonky, but for as often as I use an impact wrench, I don’t mind the $200 this saved me as a result from not having to buy a new tool.

Muy buen adaptador, hasta el momento lo eh probado con baterías Dewalt 20v, El único inconveniente es que tienes que tener el cargador de las baterías que uses ya que con el original de la herramienta Craftsman no cargan, pero no muy recomendable

Es genial. Pude volver a utilizar mi llave de impacto de 1/2 Craftsman C3 que daba por obsoleta y por más tiempo ahora con las baterías de ión litio y un solo tipo con mis demás herramientas. Muy buen producto. Altamente recomendable

Funciona perfecto lo recomiendo muy buen material.

Llego rápido pero no ke quedo a mi taladro ya que tiene una caja al final mi taladro y no entra todo.... compre uno similar pero para un ryobi y si funciona
