The First One (Love in a Small Town Book 2)

A sweet, small town romance. This was everything you would expect. An easy read and a great family feeling. With a little tidy up in editing it would be for sure a 5 star read.

I had this as a free download and boy am I happy I’ve discovered this author! Such a sweet, loving slow burn story. The characters, the place, the setting. All perfect.

A familiar storyline boy leaves, but returns etc, but handled well enough. Nice characters in a very safe and predictable read.

What a wonderful love story. Most people get a second chance and we should always make the most of it as Ali did. So , everyone.Carpe Diem !!

I loved this story! Little teasers of Ali and Flynn's history was weaved into Megan and Sam's story. While I liked Megan and Sam's story, I loved Ali and Flynn's story. They get their HEA as expected but they both have to compromise and grow up to do so. Their character arc was stronger than in the previous book, which I enjoyed as well.

How keeping a secret can cause a lot of heartbreak, especially when the person who did not know the secret still desperately wants the person to love and be a family.

Book two of this series is a second chance romance. Was hoping for a bit more interaction between Ali and Flynn. HEA.
