Q: Does this contain talc?

If you're concerned about talc, you should try pure rice powder/rice flour. It's SO much cheaper than this, glides on so smoothly, and keeps my face shine-free and soft almost all day without touch-ups!!

Q: How do you use the blotting papers that are the same brand as this powder?

I used the little powder puff that comes with the powder

Q: Will this work for dry skin?

For the most part my skin is normal with one dry patch between the top of my nose and my forehead. I use a "scrubbie" designed to get rid of flakey skin on that area only when I clean my face at night, followed by fairly rich moisturizer. In the a.m. I wash, moisturize, and apply a light foundation; finally I dust the powder on with a soft brush. Works for me. Hope this helps.

Q: Does this really have paraben in it? I'm seeing two different ingredient lists

My box does not indicate that it contains paraben. Just this "may contain" iron oxides.
