BLACKHAWK Men's Tactical Cap

Great gift for the guy you never know what to buy.

If you’re looking for a very low-profile ball cap, with no button on top, this is the best that I’ve come across so far. I wear a size 7-3/8 in fitted caps, and the blackhawk tactical cap fits me perfectly. It doesn’t leave a ton of extra slack in the strap from being oversized, and it sits high enough off the ears to wear glasses comfortably. The velcro strap does wear out a bit after about a year, but $22.00 for a year of daily wear, and a perfect fit is worth it to me. I’ve owned two so far, in olive and black, and both came exactly as shown in the picture. The velcro on the front is high quality, and perfect size for a standard velcro flag. The inside rim of the hat is the same cotton material as the outside of the hat, so it does collect a lot of sweat on hot days, but does dry pretty quickly. Overall it’s a great hat, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, low profile ball cap.

This was advertised as a low profile (low crown) cap, but it still sits right on my ears. I had a Condor low-crown years ago and was looking for a suitable replacement, but this one is definitely not low like my old Condor. However, it is a decent cap, well-built it seems, and works well enough for what I need it for. Still don't like the cap sitting right on my ears though.

I wanted to start getting into wearing caps, but it was always difficult, because I have a big head. Unfortunately, my head is a bit too big for this one, because while it fits, it doesn't quite look right on me, but it is definitely a good hat.It's got the good old, tried and true, Velcro adjustment straps on the back, and a front and back section perfect for putting a patch onto. I would definitely recommend this.

Within less than a year this cap looks brown. I bought it black, but this is without a doubt a brown hat now. It has held up remarkably well, there is no visible fraying or other defects, but I feel that I have to come here and tell you all that you probably should avoid the black hat. I would imagine that the fading would be downright classy and give that "salty" appearance with any other color, but the black hat turning brown is not even remotely appealing, and will require replacement.

Sweet hat. It's become my favorite cover replacing the Nike running hat I used to wear all the time. One that Nike discontinued BTW. The construction is solid and looks like it will hold up well to the sweat and abuse it will be receiving. Th hat cam as advertised with all the features described and with a good match to the color shown. I bought the "Jungle" colored version. It amazes me how many versions of OD Green everyone has these days. The color is just a bit more brown than I'm used to seeing but still looks good. I would recommend to anyone that needs a good daily wear cap or duty cover.

I bought one on amazon and it was perfect. Bought another one in store at a local tac shop and the bill is off center from the rest of the hat. So that if the top is straight on my head the bill it noticeable curved at a slightly downward angle to the right. Went into the store and the only one they had left had the same issue, which leads me to think theres a whole lot of these out there with the same problem. Probably ordering another one on amazon though. Its a great hat when they get it right.

Excellent hat, so many hats are non cotton, mesh styles which work yes but if you want a hat you can beat up then you want cotton hands down. This hat fits amazing and is very comfortable. This is the type of hat that will just get better with time. Won't fall apart and will last year's. Love it! Durable, good stitching, great buy.
