Replaced earbuds while running
I was a little skeptical that I could replace my ear buds that I had stopped wearing after almost being hit by a few cars who were not paying attention. If you're wearing earbuds and get hit, they are probably going to assign some negligence to you. This eliminates that issue almost entirely. I can hear traffic and my awareness is almost at the same level as when I run with no music. It made it through my first run just 30 minutes without any issues.I'm not looking for crystal clear bass, mids and highs but this little speaker was on the money. I wouldn't say bass is it's strong suit but if that is what you're looking for in a micro speaker, something is off with your thinking. It's quite possibly the best thing for a run. It didn't interfere with others as I ran by and the volume was great with plenty of room to go if it got windy or a tractor trailer was passing by. I can't see any reason not to love this unless you really need to be in an area with head phones. The clip was perfect attaching to my shirt and it's so small it will easily attach to a backpack or fit in your pocket. I may get another when they come back in stock.Pros:Felt weightless attached at my collarClear sound without blocking out the rest of the worldBattery life seems to be greatMusic, volume, power controls all built into the +/- buttonsEasily paired to my iPhone 6

Mediocre battery life
If you play it at full volume, you will get 45-60 minutes from this cute light speaker. If you play it about 1/3 to 1/2 volume, then you probably get 90-120 minutes. Good sound quality. I wish it had a better battery life. I use it when I work in the yard and just clip it my collar. I bought an extra so I could change it out when the battery dies. I have bought 5 of them for gifts to others. I think it is a good price for what it is.

Perfect, just what I needed!
Yes, I have gotten more that 3 hours from a full charge but not at FULL volume. I clip it to the collar of my shirt right under my ear, blue tooth sync it to my iPhone 7+ and listen to the COMPLETE Chicago Cubs game with the SiriusXM All Access App. It's perfect to listen to the game anywhere and not disturb people around you. And it gives the freedom to move about without wires getting in the way and easy to raise or lower the volume one handed. Thank you Polk Audio! The only way it could get better is if it had the Cubs logo printed on it ;-)Believe it or not, I’ve had two of these(I have 20 of them) go through the complete cycle in my washing machine and clothes dryer. Forgot it was in my pants pocket. I thought it would be ruined, BUT much to my surprise it worked just fine! Charged it up and still using it. In fact, I can’t even tell which speakers they are now. Looks and sounds just like the other 18 I have. Incredible!!!Polk really made this thing well. Be advised however, the washing machine is a Whirlpool Duet front loader, which uses less water than the old style top loaders. But still incredible to me!

Sound is quite good, battery life is poor.
At highest volumes, less than an hour of battery means this handy little speaker has limited usability.Quite nice for spoken word/podcasts if you don't want to wear earphones/pods ... e.g. great for bike riding.Too bad about the battery life.

Very poor design leads to aggravating product
USE: RunningNOTE: There is no bass. While this isn’t an issue for me, this may for others.PROS:• Lightweight• Secure clip• Clear soundCONS:• BATTERY LIFE IS IMPORTANT! I have been able to squeeze just under three hours out of this device. I have wireless earbuds that can go for five or so hours on a charge. I had this thing die on me on three runs. Unacceptable.• You have to disengage the Bluetooth with a quick double press of the volume keys connection before shutting device off. This leads to the next point.• No dedicated On/Off button. Instead you need to press and hold the volume keys. Seriously?• USB port hog. The device has a built in USB connection, so there’s no micro USB cable like many other devices. However, this is a large enough device that when you plug it in to charge, it will cover over a neighboring USB port. Very unacceptable.Summary: While light weight easily secured to clothing, very poor battery life, no On/Off button, and no micro USB cable make this an aggravating product. I don't recommend it.

Kept disconnecting during run.
I bought this to listen to music during runs. I ran a big organized half marathon with my GF and it worked fine for about 20-30 minutes and then started disconnecting and then shutting off constantly. In the middle of a long run, the last thing you want to do is keep turning it on and re-pairing it. Reading the other reviews here, it may have been the battery was low but I eventually just gave up on it. Very frustrating. I still have it but haven’t used it in 4-5 months. It’s a shame because the sound quality and volume were fine for a big run and it was small enough and light enough to rain 13 miles with. The controls are a pain to use, particularly when running but if it stayed on and connected, it would have been fine.

This works great for me for running
This works great for me for running. I clip it to my sports bra and t-shirt, and it stays in place really well. I think it's more than loud enough. Yes the audio quality isn't as great as bigger speakers, but for the size I think it sounds great.

Great device for the right application
I use this for a bike computer that does not have a built in speaker. It would also be useful for something with inadequate volume since you can place it close your ear. In my case, I clip it, using the built in clip, to my bike jersey and it functions flawlessly. I have not used it for much longer than 90 minutes, so I can't speak to full battery life, but it is plenty long for my needs.
