Pulled the pin, alarm went off, put the pin back in...alarm still going off. Tried to replace the pin several times and the alarm continued to go off randomly. Had to remove the batteries to silence it.

That's a good WTF. I honestly wasn't believeing that this little thing would really make much of a noise, but with my granddaugter rolling out the door and off to college, I gave this thing a once over. I'm not saying that thing is a miracle device that gives a 100% promise to keep females from getting assaulted or raped but damn if it ain't some kind of loud. Even better, it's a 1 hand operation, provided that you already have it connected to your purse, belt loop or whatever. Then its just grab and pull. It won't stop until you make it stop. It also has a small flashlight, to help with keys or whatever. This thiing is freaking LOUD. I'm really happy I got this for her. Hopefully this will run off the criminal, and she won't have to resort on the other gift I got for her. Let's just say that one will blow your ear drums out and the other will blow out your...well....ummm....brains,

I was up against a CUJO! Part Great Pyrenees and she had already torn my jacket sleeve by grabbing it in her teeth and giving a jerk. My dog is part chihuahua and he didn’t even blink when I activated it. Bummer.

I use it for safety when taking a walk for exercise.
