Edit: Seller reached out and refunded me without requiring a return. For good service I have brought my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. It ain't a bad product, it just didn't work for me due to audio related issues with capture cards. TLDR; Audio issues with capture cards. Manual does not explain usage of the product. Splits video alright, however does not pass through audio properly. Without any capture card, it did seem to output audio properly. The capture cards I have work with audio as well, from the same sources that I tested. Mixing it with a capture card stips the audio capabilities, sadly. Unfortunate. I attempted using an edid emulator into the capture card, which does make it output audio properly, however it causes the video and audio to disconnect once every 3 seconds. I tried a lot of other methods to get this to work, and none of them resolved the issue. The manual does not explain how to use the product properly either, only giving a brief on the layout of the device. There was nothing on this issue in it. In the support section on amazon, it includes a section on lack of audio, however that does not seem relevant to this product at all. It seems to be written for an entirely different product, a video adapter of some sort. I did find that the overall quality of the device was alright, however, so if you do not require a capture card or other similar interfaces to have audio, then this seems like it would probably work well for you.
