Local stores are always out of this in powder form. Thankfully I was able to find this on Amazon!

I'm using Ozempic for my Type Two diabetes, this leads to a diminished hunger in the morning, so this is a perfect alternative to the cereal I used to eat every morning. Much better consistency than the slim fast I also bought. A little pricey, but for me, it is the way to go ( lost 30 pounds so far)

I feel like I wouldn't be alive right now, if not for chocolate Carnation Instant breakfast. Yes, I still call it Carnation Instant breakfast! I've used this periodically for decades. In the 1970s, it got me through several years of junior high and High School, when it was the only thing I could eat or drink in the morning; because I would feel like I was going to throw up every day for several years when I was very tired and sleep deprived. That still happens to me as an extremely older adult! And, as a tired and busy old woman, I depend on this for the last few years and foresee it will be a staple in my diet for years to come. It's usually the only thing I have the strength to prepare when I am able to get up. I get some protein and energy; and the chocolate flavor is great. It helps satisfy my insatiable need for chocolate!The only issue I have is that the chocolate version can be challenging to get completely mixed. I believe it was within the last few years there was some sort of improvement, which I didn't notice; but I did notice it no longer mixed easily.

Used to pay $25 per, now we're above $40. Great product but not sure I can justify this purchase any longer. I have ordered this 202 times.... might change that to zero moving forward.

I enjoy both the RICH MILK CHOCOLATE & the STRAWBERRY. Both taste good and great for when you're late running out the door to work & don't have time to sit down for a full breakfast. CARNATION is a solid company with reliable and tasty breakfast items. I've been a long-time customer of over 20 years & will continue to be a loyal customer as well as recommend their products to others as well. It's hard to find STRAWBERRY flavor (my favorite flavor) but, thanks to Amazon, you can find STRAWBERRY & you can find it at a very reasonable price ...if you try to buy it in a regular grocery store ... they charge you an arm and a leg OR ... they force you to buy a "Variety Pack" ..and,again, it's very expensive. At Amazon, you can buy ONLY what you want ... in my case, I can just buy my favorite flavor---strawberry---and I can buy it at a reasonable price.Thank you Amazon for offering STRAWBERRY ... my favorite flavor ... without FORCING ME to have to buy a VARIETY PACK (of a bunch of flavors that I do NOT want to buy and I have NO interest in buying) ... it's so nice to be able to just buy (#1) the flavor that I want to buy, and (#2) to buy it at a reasonable and fair cost. I'd highly recommend this Carnation Essentials Breakfast powder AND to buy it from Amazon ... I've bought this item for 20 years & I've only found Amazon offers the STRAWBERRY alone (without FORCING you to buy other flavors that you do NOT LIKE and/or want to buy .... AND it offers the BEST price per unit per one-drink package.

Last time I ordered this it was 30 dollars which is well worth it.This is not worth the price anymore. It's not an affordable way to skip breakfast.
