Great prune butter almost as good as what we ha as kids. Wonderful! Baking ,eating and goes with my Hungarian heritage. Great with buttered noodles too. Try some one.

Very pleased with this brand of lekvar. There aren’t many brands out there anymore. This one works very well in baking and is delicious.

The first time I ordeed Lekvar (several weeks ago), it was delicious. However, this shipment was damaged since the actual container of Lekvar had been opened - the inner plastic seal was torn open, and the Lekvar inside was spooned out slightly. Pleae credit my account and advise me if I need to send this package back, and to whom. Thank you.

Not as good as the sadly discontinued prune lekvar I bought forever. It’s a tad sweeter. If you use it for baking, it will be great.

I bought this product to make Hamantaschen cookies, could not find it anywhere else. Was very happy to find a place that had it instock. I will definitely buy again.

Thanks to my Polish grandmother, I make her authentic Polish Paczki for Fat Tuesday. And Lekvar prune butter is the only filling, in my family, for authentic Polish Paczki. It's a little pricy, but it's worth the money.

The product is probably good at a reasonable price. I say probably because when opening, I noticed a bit of very sticky/dried plumb butter under the rim. I thought it was spillage from the packing process. However when peeling back the plastic seal, I noticed the rim had been cracked and the contents most likely compromised. Hopefully just a one off, but was disappointed to discover this issue while in the middle of a pierogi recipe.
