I did not know anything about this series.
This could be for boys or girls. Its a kids book with a message without spouting dogma. In case you dont know , this is but 1 book from "The lion , the witch and the wardrobe" book. The only difficulty is that there are 4 groups of 5-6 books each and they are not labeled clearly enough to figure which is which. My granddaughter started with books 1 and 2 of the 4th series. I bought books 3 and 4 of the same to help her keep up, but if she starts out of sequence it won't hurt. To here are fun games or " study guides" that come with each. Very nice illustrations.

The two finale betrayals of the book??????
Spoilers alert!!! Omg!! I cant stop reading these books their so good And i cant help it! Tigerstar? Ivy paw? THEY BETRAYED EACH OTHERRRRR! How mad is that? You cant leave this book out of the series or it will make NO sense at all! Though who wouldn't expect Ivy paw to be training there..? When i found out i was not surprised i mean.. Why give Dove paw a AMAZING destiny and leave Ivypaw in the dirt? See what i mean? They had too make Ivypaw do something bad or not!! Because personally I would HATE it if a character gets nothing as credit for their hard work! THough sometimes my friend asks me "Why did Dovepaw give away their secret?" And my answer was "Would you tell me your biggest secret if i was your sister?" and of course my friend said yes because WHO WOULDN'T? Oh riggght i forgot. The people who are like the dark forest cats who else? Yea. Nobody else. Though the moral of this story is to not lie because these lies in the books always leaded to the dark- Like Squirrelflight and Leafpools secret about Jayfeather Lionblaze and Hollyleaf-Granddaughter of tom -w-

Entertaining
My daughter book this book and she is completely addicted to this author, so I decided to give it a shot with this particular volume. The plot is entertaining, but I felt that I missed a lot by not having read the previous books and knowing more about the clans and the characters. Now I feel like I have to go back and read the series from the start. My daughter has all the previous printed books, this one being the first she bought on electronic version. The characters are very well developed and the ambient is described in a way that you feel yourself in the story. Very easy reading, the plot flows in an adequate path. If I could complain (not really a complain, but...), I would suggest easier names for the cats. After a while you get used to read all the long names, but at first it was hard. It is like referring to a person by first name, middle name and last name every single time you mention that person in the story. Anyway, overall it was worth the experience and I shall read the series from the beginning, as I mentioned before.I recommend this book to the permanent library of any reader that loves a well written book. We bought this book from Amazon.com. Opinion expressed here is my own.

I like a lot the serries of books Warriors
I have read all 20 volumes of Warriors and I could not let it out of my hand. I read them day and night. I enjoyed this volume as well. I like the plot, the flow of reading and the story. I was a little disapointed because of how it has finished. I felt the final was a little abrupt. Instead of finding out what happened with Ivypaw in the Dark Forest I found some sort of game of imagination, that I skipped off.

Another AMAZING Warriors book!
This was another AMAZING Warriors book that I loved!*SPOILER ALERT*I loved how Ivypaw switched from The Dark Forest to the side of StarClan and then found out about the three (finally!) And the way she really didn't want to pay for them just seemed so honest and I really felt for her in that moment.Overall this was a great book and I'm looking forward to reading the next one!

This book was a good step in Omen of the Stars
This book was a good step in Omen of the Stars. If you leave this book out when reading it you will miss out on quite a lot. Overall, this book picked up on the threads left by its predecessor. How Dovewing uses her powers is quite consistent with how I would use such powers if I had them, so it does have at least that much realism. Also, apparently hockey is dangerous if you're not paying attention. (Yes, this is a book about cats. It also has hockey. You now have to read this to find that part.) This book also seriously changed my view on how StarClan actually works. One thing that got me, though, is how completely idiotic StarClan is being. Seriously, at the beginning of the book they were advocating the Clans sticking together. By the middle, they're trying to drive the Clans apart. This behavior is totally unbecoming of such a supposedly wise Clan.Other than that, though, this book is good.

Dark forest
My favourite part was when the cats were fighting over the clearing and thunder clan jumped out of the trees.

Night whispers
This book is really cool, Ivypaw and Dovepaw are best frenemies (mix between best friends and enemies. Ivypaw visits the Darkforest where Hawkfrost teaches her how to hunt and fight better then most of her clanmates. Dovepaw saves many lives when a tree falls down right on top of Thunderclan's camp!

Amazing, as usual
As usual, Erin Hunter never ceased to leave me on the edge of my seat. As with all the others, I couldn't put it down. I have yet to read the new ones, but hope to soon as this book left me on another cliffhanger!
