It comes with a 377a watch battery. The tool to open the back of the watch as shown in one of the pictures does not come with the watch. It looks nice, is classy, but understated enough to use everyday. The viewing window is nice, though it lets dust in which is unideal. The time retention is decent, but a couple weeks ago I noticed it was almost an hour off, and more recently I have found it 40 minutes off time, and now twice in the last 2 days the time has been off by about 5 or 10 minutes. I am not sure exactly how it is losing time (as it's always late, not early) but it isn't reliable to use by itself for timekeeping. For a $10 pocket watch, I more or less thought that would be the case. To get a reliable one will probably cost $200 or more, so I cannot complain about this one.
