I bought this for a family member who developed quite a rash and itch on both forearms, after working on the lawn and in the flower beds. She was sure she'd pulled up some poison ivy or poison oak, without wearing gloves. (I usually do it, because I'm not at all susceptible to poison ivy, oak, sumac, you name it, but I can't do it right now because of an injury.) She tried other anti-itch creams and gels, but none of them really did the job. I knew that, for most persons, hydrocortisone was best for itchy rashes, so I specifically searched for this. The cream did stop her itching almost immediately, although she continued to use the cream for about a week. Little-by-little, each day, her rash also went away, with absolutely no negative after effects. In addition, the aloe in the cream moisturized her arms and left them feeling soft and silky. This cream isn't greasy at all. I know I hate greasy creams and buy roll-ons whenever they are available, but if I developed a rash or itch, I wouldn't hesitate to use this. My family member said it appeared to be non-staining and completely odorless as well. All-in-all, this is a great cream to use when you have a rash or an itch. There are areas of the body on which I wouldn't use it, but if I had a problem with those areas, I'd definitely see a doctor. And don't use this internally or around your eyes. This is for external use only. If you're susceptible to any kind of weed or other plant, if you have a bee sting, ant bite, or non-poisonous spider bite, etc., nothing OTC beats Cortizone-10. If this doesn't solve your problem, you probably need to see a doctor. Highly recommended.

I had about 23-24 chigger bites from the waist down. I had an anti-itch store brand cream that did not have comparable ingredients to Cortizone-10. But, it was all I had and I needed immediate relief. My off brand cream didn't do much to stop the intense itching in the first 48 hours after I was bitten. I ordered this Cortizone-10 cream from Amazon, received it the next day and used it right away. Amazing stuff that works instantly! I lost two nights of sleep with constant itching, though I knew better than to scratch. The next night I used the Cortizone-10 anti-itch cream and was finally able to sleep again. I reapplied the cream in the middle of the night and went back to sleep. The cream didn't last 10 hours as listed on the product, but after the initial 48 hours of intense chigger bite itching, I can now go longer without having to use more cream. In the middle of the night, a spider got trapped in my pajamas and angrily bit its way around my calf. I didn't find the evil spider until I shook it out of my PJ's the next morning. Blerg. Alas, I was lucid enough to grab my phone and 1-click a same-day delivery of Cortizone-10. It was here by 8am, and the itchy spider bites were immediately squelched. I don't know why I did't already have a big tube of this stuff around - it's Summer. Everyone should. When you need it, you NEED it. It works. It lasts. It doesn't have a weird smell or stain your clothes. It doesn't sting or burn. It's not crazy-expensive. A little goes a pretty long way, but get the big tube. For real. Also - serious SHELF LIFE! This may be embarrassing but it might help the next person. I got this originally because of constant and sometimes painful itching/rashlike feeling around my anus and lower scrotum. Using this cream would allow me peace at work without suppressing every urge to itch in front of peers, and to sleep at night without being awoken by the insane urge to sate the itch. What I later discovered was, because i'd never read up on and so never invested in, technical underwear. I do a lot of Hiking and running. What was happening was that I was getting Chafed from both sweat (salts acting like sand paper on your sensitive areas) and plain old rubbing of parts. I invested in some sport / moisture wicking Boxer Briefs to help hold my goodies in place & wick away sweat, and combined with Gold Bond body powder before my activities, all of this itching sensation completely went away and i've no longer had to use this cream. + because it works. just... maybe you don't actually need it if you have something completely preventable in the first place.

Whoever created Corizone-10, you are such an angel. I had some form of cheilitis on the edges of my lips and the area surrounding my lips. One day, my lips were extra chapped and the are around my lips were red and constantly peeled. then skin would regrow and peel and the vicious cycle would start over again. When I left the area dry for a long time, the skin became crusty and peeled off just to continue being red. I lived with these clown-like lips for around 3 months and it was horrible. I changed my face wash/toothpaste and facial care with no avail. Lip balms became useless, and I also tried honey, coconut oil, and a honey/salt scrub. It kept coming back! Then I read recommendations to use Cortizone. Within 4 hours it was significantly better. In under a week, I was completely healed!! If you have a similar problem with your lips, make sure you do not lick any of it. I would put on a thin film of the cream on the inflamed area before going to bed, and another thin layer before starting my day. This cream also works for rashes of any kind (works for rashes from jewelery and fabric for me). fyi--this is around $5 at the Walmart near me, but might cost more or less depending on where you are

My wife recently got hives and she has a lot of red dots on her body (the kind you get when you get a mosquito bite). The hives are a lot larger than your mosquito bites and they itch just as much. Itching makes them a lot worse and her doctor recommended to buy this cream. I have been putting this on her body as a lot of them were on her back. It really helps with the itching and the hives were gone in a few days. I actually got some mosquito bites and I used this cream for that and it helped with that as well. This is way better than the after-bite pen I was using as sometimes than burns when you put it on (this cream does not).

THIS product works and works fast. I had a rash from working in the sun. On line they called it a heat rash. The skin actually was beginning to wear off. It hurt and burned and itched. I couldn't stand wearing a shirt, so basically I stayed inside. I finally googled rash and saw so many types and severities. Mine was not too bad once I compared it to the photos on google. On Amazon, I saw Cortisone 10 with Aloe Vera. I ordered it and put it on my back. I found it worked. The next morning my rash stopped inching but I could feel it. The second day, it was gone. Great stuff.
