Non slip clear tape that actually works!
Used for my bathtub, was tired of the no slip mats that slipped after the tub surface got slimey because water did not get underneath it to keep tub surface clean. Put this clear product down, 3 long straps, work great, tub stayed clean and I stayed upright.

Adhesion could be a little better, but it works!
Bought this to wrap around my mother-in-law's shower wand. she is in her 90's and was having a hard time holding onto the wand (soap made it very slippery, and she has arthritis). The texture of the tape was perfect, allowed her to grip, without being too abrasive. The tape where wrapped, worked well, but the ends didn't adhere too well. I've used rubber bands to hold the ends for now. My mother-in-law says she loves it!

Exactly what I needed
I canโt say how this performs under all circumstances or long term, but it was exactly what I needed. I have an older chihuahua with an arthritic knee and the Spanish tile that is on the step up into my front door was starting to cause him anxiety when we would come in from outside. I purchased this tape and placed some strips in the place he usually comes in through. You can see it so I canโt say that itโs invisible, but it seems like it would be easy enough to remove and I could always put it across the whole entry way. His safety and comfort are most important. He was immediately relieved to find good traction and he doesnโt hesitate for a second anymore when coming inside. He hops right onto his spot and sometimes even runs right in. I was very glad to find an easy solution to make him more comfortable and confident. Even if it doesnโt last for very long I have plenty left and if I need to buy a new roll, itโs worth every penny for my little guy. But so far it is outside it south Florida where itโs humid and itโs storm season so it is definitely getting wet and itโs not showing any signs of lifting. I canโt speak for how long that will last, but as I said, itโs definitely worth what I paid for it either way.

Does not stick and does very little to help with traction
I bought this to help my dogs get down the deck stairs. Tape came off after one day and added no grip. This is not grip tape. Its a clear tape with a textured surfaced. Seemed slippery than just the wood stairs.

Did Not work well for me
I applied them to my back steps, the material has ridges like wood. It did not stick very well since the surface is not completely smooth. They came up right away. I even cleaned the steps. If the surface you are placing them on is not smooth and has ridges or anything like that it may not stick.

This Stuff Is Amazing!
My parents moved into a place with the world's most slippery walk-in shower. It was dangerous and I wasn't sure exactly why. I laid this out in short squares throughout the shower being careful to avoid grout lines, as it only sticks on smooth surfaces, and I think that is the cause of some reviewers' difficulty getting it to stay in place. The difference is night & day. Follow the instructions & clean beforehand. It's solid and incredibly stable. It's also barely visible could spare you & your loved ones from serious injury.

I've just applied this grip tape to a loft bed ladder and the surfaces around the entry into the loft bed (see first two photos). I cut the roll of tape into pieces at the correct length for the width of the ladder rungs, leaving about 3/8" space at the sides of the ladder. I used a paper cutter to cut the pieces, and scissors to cut rounded corners for each piece. Scissors will work in a pinch if you don't have a paper cutter. The paper cutter is especially handy if you're making longer cuts. When you peel off the backing paper and apply the strips, try to avoid getting your fingerprints on the sticky backs. Try to get it lined up on the first attempt, so that you don't have to lift it up and try again. When applying, it's easier to not get bubbles if you start at one end, or at the middle working outwards. Then smooth out each strip and stick it down tightly everywhere using a roller (not supplied, sadly), the edge of a smooth wooden block, a smooth plastic drywalling tool, or even the flat of your fingernail. It seems to stick pretty well to varnished wood so far. Time will tell if the corners start gradually lifting off. The start of the roll had one blemish where it looked like the rough surface had been melted. Too bad I didn't notice that until I had already cut my first strip (see last photo). That, and the lack of a roller, is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Does the job. Love the clear version as it doesn't take away from the beauty of the wood. Glue appear to be holding without issue

Improves traction on my stairs which I use multiple times daily. Had withstood several snowfalls and shovelling.

Works ok on flat surface but does not bend over the bull nose of steps and stick, Have rolled it many times but it just unsticks.
